After class

After our history test, we were dismissed and let out for our next class.
I booked it the hell outta there as fast as I could, Trigger high tailing behind me as well.
"BEST FRIEND WAIT UP!!", he called then he jumped on back and I laughed."SURPRISE PIGGYBACK RIDE!!"
"TRIGGER STOP TRYING TO MAKE ME LAUGH", I laughed as I carried him to the end of the hall then I put him down."Your heavy."
"Shut up, your fatter than I am",he smirked.
"Tear", I said as I pretended to pout then we went to turn the corner but someone called me and I turned to see it was Jacob hauling ass towards us, and my smile immediately disappeared.
"Hey babe",he smiled as he stopped in front of me.
"I'm gunna be in class",Trigger mumbled to me as he walked passed and on down the hall.

"Careful now, don't say "babe" too loud cause God forbid your friends should hear", I glared at him and turned around to walk down the hall to class, but he followed me.
"Babe, I'm sorry", he said as he walked beside me."I just know how you used to get bullied, and so now I wanna keep it on the low so no one bullies you anymore."
"Really?",I said as I stopped and turned to him."Your ashamed of me Jake, lets gets real-if you really did care about me, you'd show everyone I was yours, no matter where we were."
And with that, I turned and headed for the stairs to get to class.
"Baby, I'm just trying to protect you!",he called and I stopped on the second stair, slowly turning to him.
"Your trying to protect me?", I repeated.
"Yes", he nodded as he came up and took my hands in his."I only did that so nobody would give you a hard time, and I'm sorry I did'nt tell you about it, but to make it up to you, why don't we go and get food today after school ok?Wherever you want alright?"

Slowly a smile crept onto my face and he smiled as well then laughed.
"Alright", I nodded.
"Ok?",he said.
"Yea", I laughed."But why were you ignoring me all weekend?Missing all my calls?"
"Aww sorry sweetheart, the coach is just working us all so hard, and I did'nt have time to answer the phone", he said.
"Alright", I nodded.
"Alright, I gotta go but I'll see you at your locker at 3",he said, then he kissed me and ran off."Bye baby!!"

"Bye!", I called back, then I sighed as I watched him run off down the hall.
Maybe I was just overreacting about the entire thing.
I sighed again, then turned and walked up the stairs again to my next class, and when I walked around the corner, there was Trigger waiting for me.
"So what did prince charming have to say?", he rolled his eyes.
"Ohh ya know, he claimed that everything that happened a while was to just protect me from being bullied because I'm not like them", I rolled my eyes and we gave each other the same look of "yea right."

"Bullshit", he scoffed.
"Yea I said that same thing, but then he told me to meet him at 3 and we were gunna go out for food",I said as we walked into our next class."Whether he makes it there or not, is another thing."
