The last gem is a ruby. It can be found where life reaches the heavens.

"Em! Wake up! We need to find out where that ruby is!" I heard one of my friends yell. Then, I suddenly felt a weight on my chest.

"Oomph! What the heck, Rose!" I yelled after I got a glimpse of my friend's blonde locks. She still jumped on me and shook me until I pushed her off and got out of bed.

As I walked down the hall, I was tackled into a hug by Matt. I immediately began to giggle and twist as he tickled my sides. After a few minutes of this, I was finally able to push him off of me and run to the living room. After hiding behind the couch, I yelled;

"What was that for?" All he did was laugh and chase me around the room. He had finally caught me and made me sit down with the others on the chairs and sofa.

"Okay, I decided that you shouldn't do any thinking this morning. Especially after what happened last night. So, I think I figured out the ruby riddle," he responded.

"With help from us, of course," said Ari while giving Matt a glare. He began to scratch the back of his neck and blush a bit. "Okay, so we thought about it and decided this...it's probably on the rooftop of the hotel. Where life reaches the heavens? The rooftop is the closest place we can find to the "heavens". Plus, all the gems have to be somewhere that has to do with the hotel, so where else could they be?"

"That's brilliant, guys! But there's one teeny tiny problem," I said. They leaned in a bit to listen. "We still need to find a way to get up there!" I screamed and Rose began to break out in a small fit of laughter.

"No problem!" began Rose. "I did a little "exploring" while you guys were still asleep and found a staircase by the janitor's closet near the elevator on this floor. It leads right to the roof. I still think we should do this at midnight, just so no one catches us," We all nodded in response.

After making all of our plans for that night, we decided to go to an old movie theater that we had found about a block away from the hotel. The walk to the theater was quiet...well, minus all the cars and other people on the street. Anyway, as we were walking, I was taking pictures and videos of us walking along so I could remember our little "trip" to the amazing city. It was even more beautiful than I remembered.

After a few minutes of talking and walking down the crowded streets, we finally made it to the old movie theater we had come to find.

"There she is guys! Now, what kind of movie do you wanna see?" I asked.

"Maybe we should go see a romance and make this the first date for you and Matt," giggled Ari. My face began to heat up. A first date?

"I don't think that seems like a bad idea. I think it'd be nice and cute," responded Matt. I was afraid he was gonna say that...

"Okay, fine! A date it is," I said, finally giving in. I could tell that Ari was silently cheering. She had won. Once we made our way into the old theater, we paid for our romantic movie tickets, sat down in our seats and waited for the movie to start.

"Why did you guys have to pick the sad one?" I said, my face red from tear stains. It was true. Ari and Rose were the ones that picked the movie. It must have been a pretty old movie, too, because I had never heard of it.

"Oh, come on! You have to admit that it was a pretty good movie, though," responded Rose. I did have to agree with her. The acting and effects were quite good, especially for being made in the mid-1900's. I nodded my head in agreement as I wiped away tears that were still collecting on my face. It's a good thing I didn't put on makeup that day. My face probably would have been a mess.

"You know what? Let's get out of here. We should get some sleep before we go looking for the ruby, tonight," said Matt.

"Awe, you just wanna go cuddle with Emmy," laughed Rose. My face began to heat up again.

Of course, that's what they were thinking...Now that I think about it, I actually am still kinda tired. Maybe a nap would be good for us...

"Can we just go back to the hotel now? I don't want to cry my eyeballs out in public," said Rose.

"Thank you for being over dramatic this time, Rose. I agree, let's get out of here." I laughed

"Fine, let's go," responded Matt.

Once we made it back to the hotel, I quickly raced to my room, took my shoes off and hopped into bed. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I could feel myself drifting off. Before I was completely consumed in darkness, I felt someone kiss the side of my head.

"Sweet dreams, Emmy-girl," and I fell asleep. But that voice had sounded familiar...

Shawn?!...
