"What do you have against women" Steve said as you drilled your fist's into the punching bag that Steve held. You looked at him your (S/C) skin glistening with sweat ," I don't have a problem with them, but the universe seems to have a problem with me and women". Steve smirked at this, he had always been a father figure to ever since he was unfrozen you got annoyed and said, "Well well Captain America can laugh" as you started shooting your fists in the punching bag. Steve rolled his eyes at you and said, "Listen (F/N) maybe your having bad luck with female agents because you want things to go bad in missions" when Steve finished it took all your willpower not to burst out laughing.
Then after another 10 minutes of training with the first super hero your (E/C) flicked up to the clock and realized you had to go. "Sorry Steve I have to meet my new partner" Steve merrily gave you a head nod as you bolted towards the elevator. As you waited in the elevator almost completely out of breath Tony Stark entered the elevator he looked like he was in a good mood which made your mood even worse.(A/N you don't like Tony Stark but he doesn't notice sorry if you like Iron man) "Hey (N/N) I heard you got a new partner?" he questioned your headache worsened as you answered him by saying, "Yeah" Starks smirk grew 3 sizes.
"When you getting married" Stark said through his smirk you saw Red but you calmly said, "Stark I will put you in urgent care if you don't stop". But it only encouraged him you thought you were above Starks child like chananigans (thats right I said it) you were wrong you snapped as he started making more inappropriate comments. Right as you reached your floor you turned and punched Stark square in the face, while quietly thanking god for you being alone. Stark fell with a very muffled, "Ow" this made you cheer in your mind as you hid him in the elevator. (A/N he's not dead) Sighing in relief that you weren't caught you stepped off the elevator on to your floor.
You walked up to the receptionist a old man who looked to be about in his late 50's, "(F/N) (L/N) for operation Grim Reaper" you told the receptionist he greeted you with a neutral face and said, "You are in the second room to the right" while pointing down the hall. You nodded your head at him as you made your way to the door just as you were about to open it you stopped yourself and said, "This one will kill me" and you opened the door.
The Room was like all the other briefing rooms completely black with a blue holographic table in the middle the only difference was the women siting there. Your heart raced the moment you saw her, she was the most beautiful women you had ever seen in your entire life she had short, curly, red hair, soft pale skin, a very attractive face, a hour glass figure, and beautiful green eyes. But your heart was attacking you for different reasons, "Thats Natasha Romanoff the Black Widow" you thought you almost blacked out from worry as you sat down on one of the chair's in the room. You knew all the things she had done she had built a reputation but you never actually saw her in person, you thought she and Clint had been partners before and know Fury wanted you to be partners.
You tried to keep a neutral face as Natasha looked up from cleaning her gun and said, "Are you (F/N) (L/N)" in a firm yet soothing voice. The question almost didn't make it to you you were still to stunned all you managed to say was a brief, "Yes" as strongly as you could say you couldn't afford to look weak. "Congratulations, I'm your new partner" you had mixed feelings you were a bit intimidated by her. But after you heard the rumors about Natasha you had developed a crush on the infamous Black Widow but you couldn't let her figure that out who knows what she thought of you already.
Natasha's POV
I couldn't believe Fury wanted me to get a new partner after my last mission if he wasn't my boss I wouldve killed him a long time ago. Me and Clint may not have been the perfect team but we get the Job done most of the time how could he pear me up with some agent iv'e barely even heard off. I was just about to get up and leave the briefing room when the door opened I could only assume it was my partner because I was looking at the table cleaning my weapon but I choose to look up. I was planning to glare at him and freak him out, but then I saw his face. He was easily one of the most handsome men I ever saw he had smooth (S/C) skin, soft (H/C) hair, kind (E/C) eyes, big muscles, and a very clean and handsome face.
I felt my breath pick up had I been poisoned? no I wasn't I just got a medical examination. I had to say something to him or he might think something's wrong with me so I said, "Are you (F/N) (L/N)". He said, "Yes" his voice was strong but so gentle I wanted to hear his sexy voice again so I decided to say, "Congratulations, I'm your new partner" I smirked at him to let him know I was just teasing him but he didn't reply which disappointed me a bit. He looked bored and relaxed but I could tell he was nervous but I choose to ignore that I was to distracted by the strong feelings I felt towards him which scared me because I heard Tony say, "Love is indescribable" when he was talking about relationships I was so scared because the feelings I felt was indescribable.
I was immediately pulled from this by remembering, "Your can't have a crush, you can't be in love, love is for children". I was immediately snapped out of my thoughts by the sound of the door slamming it was Director Fury and what he said definitely surprised me he said, "Agents Romanoff and Agent (L/N) your first mission together could be one of the toughest missions of your careers".
