(F/N) took another drag from his cigarette he found it relaxing, it helped him relax,it helped him forget,he wished that he could runaway but his "boss" wouldn't let that happen he was to good at his "job". That's what (F/N) was doing right now,the cool night air blew threw the streets, he was waiting outside a clothing store, for his boss, Kilgrave, to get yet another suit.
(F/N) turned when he heard the door open and his boss walked out, he swallowed as Kilgrave turned to him, "Put that out, let's go," (F/N) sighed, and took one last drag. But before he could put his cigarette out, Kilgrave turned around and said, "stop." (F/N) froze cigarette still in hand, 'crap he's in a mood' (F/N)'s heart thumped in his chest, Kilgrave turned to him, "Why are you sighing? Do you not want to be here?" (F/N) remained silent. The cold New York air whipped against his face softly, Kilgrave liked his lips quickly and glared at (F/N), "That wasn't a question, Tell Me!"
(F/N) tried to bite his tongue but the words left his mouth against his will, "This isn't a job, this slavery." Kilgrave said nothing at first,he chuckled and walked up to (F/N), he noticed the cigarette.
Kilgrave smiled, "The cigarette, give it to me,"(F/N) did as he was told and placed it in Kilgrave's out stretched hands. Kilgrave examined it for awhile, and took a long drag, he held the cigarette out to (F/N), "Take it," (F/N) obeyed, "put that in front of your left eye, don't blink." (F/N) tried to stop himself but his arm had a mind of it's own, he slowly moved it to his eye. The cigarette was inches away from his (E/C) eyes, (F/N) could see the burning tobacco.
(F/N) started to breath quickly, he was shacking. Kilgrave looked at him void of emotion, "You know what i'm going to say next?" (F/N) tried to squint his eyes but he couldn't, all he could do was nod. Kilgrave leaned forward and whispered in his ear, "but I would rather not lose a good employee like you, so flick the cigarette on the sidewalk and get in the back of the car." (F/N) exhaled quickly, he threw the cigarette as far away from him as he could, and he started walking to the car.
(F/N) opened the door for his boss, "Sir? My eyes?" Kilgrave got in the back of the car and glanced at (F/N), "Blink as many times as you want to," he said casually, (F/N) immediately regained his ability to blink, "Thank you Sir." (F/N) shut the door and took a deep breath as he got in the back seat right next to his boss. The worst part about tonight was Kilgrave seemed to be in a better mood than usual, normally he would have made (F/N) burn himself with his lighter.
---------------------------------------
(F/N) was waiting outside a room, Kilgrave was inside the room (F/N) was guarding, he wanted to be alone, and he didn't want to be disturbed. (F/N) was more than fine with this, he hated his boss, and any moment that he could get away from him was a highlight to his day. (F/N) was fine until, he heard his boss yell "(F/N), come here!" (F/N) took a deep breath, 'act like you want to be here' he thought as he turned and opened the door.
Kilgrave smiled when (F/N) came in, Kilgrave was wearing the new suit he bought, "Close the door," (F/N) shut the door behind him. (F/N) was unsettled by this, whenever his boss was in a good mood like this he was planning something extreme. "How long have you worked for me? (F/N)" (F/N) thought about that day, it was easily the worst day of his life, but he didn't indicate it, "About 3 months now, I think."
Kilgrave nodded, and smirked, "You've worked here longer than most of my staff, which is why I need you to do a special job for me." (F/N) almost teared up when Kilgrave said those words, his "special jobs" tended to be awful things, breaking and entering, kidnapping, murder. How Kilgrave didn't notice (F/N)'s change in expression was beyond him, Kilgrave turned to a table to get something.
"I need you to bring me someone who is...important to me," (F/N) regained his positive, professional demeanor quickly, once Kilgrave turned back to him. Kilgrave had a picture in his hand, he glanced at it then looked at (F/N), "This is... Jessica Jones."
Kilgrave looked at the picture a little bit longer, he licked his lips. (F/N) cleared his throat to get his attention, Kilgrave quickly snapped back to reality, "As I was saying Miss Jones, I need you to bring her to me." Kilgrave handed him the picture, (F/N) was expecting a super model, or maybe a billionaire, to be on the picture, not a random woman who looked like she had sort of a punk rock style going on. (F/N) put the photo in his jacket pocket, "her current location is written on the back of the picture, you are to find her and subdue her without seriously harming her, and you will bring her to me," (F/N) nodded at least this wasn't murder.
Kilgrave stepped forward and put his arm on (F/N)'s shoulder, (F/N) quickly reminded himself not to move away, or pull back. "Now don't think this is going to be easy, Jessica is..like me, she's...gifted" (F/N) froze, he turned his head to look at Kilgrave who was looking ahead, he opened the door to the room the two were in. "She is strong, she's.. different,"(F/N) remained silent, he was regretting the assignment already. Kilgrave took his hand off of (F/N), "She would spot a group of men coming after her easily, and she would run the second she saw me, so that's why I need you." (F/N) nodded, he pretended like he was eager, "I can do that, Sir," Kilgrave smiled.
He clapped (F/N) on the back, "Good, and hey if you come back quickly i'll give you some time with Charlotte," (F/N) slightly shuddered and paled, he started to walk to the door Kilgrave shrugged off his behavior, Kilgrave quickly added "oh one last thing." (F/N) stopped and turned to face Kilgrave, his smile had turned into a frown, "If you don't bring Miss Jones to this house in four hours, take your eyes out in the most painful way you can think of, Kilgrave's smile returned, "Good Luck."
-------------------------------------
(F/N) stood outside the apartment building, he started walking to the building, his breathing increased. (F/N)'s big plan was to get this done as quickly as possible, this woman had super strength, according to Kilgrave, so straight up knocking her out wouldn't be the best approach. (F/N) grasped the bottle of chloroform in his hand, that was his first plan, his second plan...figure out how to live without eyes.
(F/N) made his way to the elevator slowly, he checked his watch, "three hours to go" he breathed in, then out, he walked in the elevator and pushed the button. "God, what am I doing?" (F/N) said to himself, he slicked his hair back with his hand, the elevator dinged. (F/N) turned to the elevator door, it opened slowly and stopped about halfway, (F/N) sighed and squeezed through. "Crappy building," he muttered under his breath, (F/N) looked to the end of the hall and stared, the door at the end of the hall had a sign it red "Alias Investigations" (F/N) pale, "Damn," a part of him had hoped he had the wrong building, he still had trouble doing jobs like this, even though he had done them multiple times.
(F/N) pulled the rag out of his jacket and poured the chloroform on it, (F/N) put the bottle on the floor and began to walk to the door. (F/N) tucked the rag into his sleeve, he stood in front of the door, and he knocked. (F/N) started sweating immediately, he heard someone rustling around inside the apartment, "One minute," a voice spoke out.
(F/N) felt his body prepare, the door opened and in front of him was was the woman from the picture, Jessica Jones. Jessica looked at (F/N) for awhile, as if she was trying to recognize him, "What?" she finally said. (F/N) cleared his throat, "I'm sorry," is all he said simply, then before Jessica could even reply (F/N) grabbed her and shoved the rag onto her face, pushing her into her apartment.
Jessica's eyes bulged quickly she shoved (F/N) off of her easily, "Shit." (F/N) fell down, but got up quickly, he couldn't lose, not now, not with so much at stake. Jessica watched (F/N), he was looking for any advantage he could find, but he couldn't find any. (F/N) heard his watch beep, he had two and a half hours, (F/N) panicked and lunged forward to grab Jessica and push her to the ground. (F/N) ended up grabbing her waist, Jessica was able to stay standing, she grabbed (F/N)'s collar bone and started to squeeze it, she hit his back with her other free hand. (F/N) screamed in pain as he heard his bones crack, he had to let go of her, Jessica held onto (F/N)'s collar bone and punched him right in the head, (F/N) hit the floor and he saw stars.
---------------------------
(F/N) was slowly waking up from, his unconscious state, but he was jolted awake when he heard Jessica say "Wake up asshole," he felt her open hand strike his cheek, his eyes snapped open. He looked around the room frantically, his eyes settled on Jessica who was sitting right across from him. (F/N) looked down and noticed he was in a chair, his hands and feet were duct taped to it, but that's not what (F/N) was thinking, of at the moment. "What time is it?!?!?" Jessica looked at (F/N) she didn't look confused, she looked like she was tired of hearing things like that, she took off her leather jacket.
"How long did he give you?" Jessica asked, she stood up and walked out of the room, (F/N) was confused now, "what?" he heard Jessica's boots hitting the floor, she was moving some stuff around in the next room, it sounded like she was looking for something.
(F/N) heard Jessica sigh, "Kilgrave, the British dick who sent you to attack me. How long did he say you had, before you had to do whatever he told you to do?" (F/N) stared at the doorway, she knew about Kilgrave apparently, "At around ten he said that I had four hours to bring you back to him, or I had to claw my eyes out." Jessica walked back into the room, a bottle of vodka in her hand, she pinched her nose and sighed, "As long as you don't know the time, you should be fine until it wears off, but for now it's probably best that you stay tied up."
Jessica opened the bottle and took a long swig, (F/N) looked at her in shock, "How can you drink like that?" Jessica put the bottle down, and swallowed the liquid, "Practice," she said, (F/N) decided not to push her with questions. (F/N) looked at the bottle, "Would you mind?" Jessica looked at him, he jerked his head at the bottle, Jessica picked the bottle back up and walked over to (F/N). Jessica put the bottle to (F/N)'s lips and tipped the bottle so it went into (F/N)'s mouth, she pulled it away, after awhile. (F/N) swallowed it, "Thank you," Jessica put the bottle back down, and sat back down on her chair, she looked (F/N) over.
Jessica looked away from (F/N), then at ground, she smirked, (F/N) noticed, "What's so funny?" Jessica looked back up at (F/N), "It's just the whole, drinking with the guy who just tried to kidnap me...it's just...this is my life." Jessica shook her head, (F/N) smirked to, his smirk quickly faded when he saw that he was unconsciously straining against the tape that held him to the chair. Jessica noticed this, "You want to know the time, don't you?" (F/N) nodded and shut his eyes, "My mind is trying to decide whether I should try to bring you back to Kilgrave or claw my eyes out." Jessica looked at (F/N) straining, "don't worry, if you break out, i'll knock you out again," the tape strained as (F/N) pulled against it.
(F/N) opened his eyes and leaned his head back, he needed to distract himself, "Yeah and you could probably do it too, when you knocked me out the first time, it felt like I got hit by a car." Jessica actually laughed at this, "Yeah, I took it easy on you, since you were saying 'i'm sorry' I kind of figured that their was more too you than what I first thought."
(F/N) tilted his head, "Very observant," (F/N) remarked, "I am sorry about that by the way, I didn't hurt you did I?" Jessica grabbed the bottle of the floor again, "Dude, you just sort of grabbed me, I wasn't hurt or scared I was confused."
(F/N) shook his head, "He did tell me not to hurt you," Jessica finished taking another swig, "Yeah, that's one of the few things he won't do." (F/N) looked at the floor, "Yeah," he said weakly, "I know," Jessica offered (F/N) the bottle, he nodded, Jessica stood up and poured more vodka into (F/N)'s mouth.
He licked his lips, he looked at Jessica, she went back to her chair, the alcohol was giving him the courage to ask a question, he wanted to ask, "What did you do after you got away from him?" Jessica clutched the bottle and took another drink from it. Jessica walked over to (F/N) she pulled the chair he was tied to until he felt the chair stop against something he turned his head to look behind him. Jessica had pulled (F/N) to her bed so she could sit next to him, "I found someone, to talk to...to cry to...and he still haunts me...i'm not gonna lie...but talking helps." (F/N) nodded he looked at Jessica, "I think were two people who both need help." (F/N) saw Jessica take a long drink from the bottle again, "Yes, yes we are." Neither of them said anything, for a time. (F/N) felt something on his shoulder, he looked down, Jessica had put her head on his shoulder.
(F/N) smiled and was about to make a joke, but the urge came again, he pulled against the duct tape, (F/N) broke the silence "Do you know how long his commands usually last?" Jessica finished off the bottle, "about 12 hours," she replied quietly, (F/N) sighed, "I guess that gives us plenty of time to talk then." Jessica stood back up, "Yes it does," she started to walk and slightly stumble back to the next room, after awhile, she asked (F/N), "You want Whiskey?"
