A/N: This takes place in highschool senior year.

I was walking to my first period class when I noticed two guys push someone against a locker. I assumed they were just joking around since a lot of guys joke around like that so I just  waited for first period to start. "Hey Y/N!" Said my best friend, Y/B/F/N. "Hey, what are you doing here isn't your first period across campus?" I asked. "I had to drop something off here." She/he replied. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed one of the two guys punched the same person they pushed into the locker. "Y/N?" She/he asked. I ran over to where the two guys were. "What the hell is wrong with you guys!?" I yelled pushing them out of my way. "Are you okay?" I asked lending my hand to him. "Yeah, I'm used to it." He said. "You shouldn't be, people should just be nice, anyways I'm Y/N." I said. "I'm Danny." He replied. "Wait here." I said getting wet paper towels for him. I came back and cleaned off the cut on his face from them punching him. "You really didn't have to do this." He said. "I wanted to." I replied. "Thanks." He replied. "No problem." I said continuing to clean off the cut. I noticed some bruises on his arms and legs. "Did they do that to you?" I asked. "Yeah.." replied Danny. "I'm so sorry, why can't people just be nice." I replied hugging him. First period had already started so I walked Danny to his first period which was only a few doors from my first period. When we reached the door I was about to leave but before I could Danny pressed his lips against mine. I smiled and passed him a note with my phone number on it. "See you later." I said walking to my first period class. "Why are you late?" Asked my teacher. "She was helping some faggot in the hall." Blurted out the bully. I went up to the bully and shoved him out of his chair. "Y/N and (bully's name) go to the office now!" Said my teacher. Without hesitation I walked to the office and so did the bully. "Hey." He said trying to get my attention. I ignored him. He ran up next to me. "What do you want?" I asked annoyed. "Your number." He replied smirking. "Fuck off." I said walking faster to avoid him. When I finally reached the office he caught up to me and put his arm around me. "Don't touch me." I said slapping his arm off of me. As expected we were both suspended. I called my mom and told her that I got suspended and that she had to pick me up. She was surprised because I was always the perfect straight A student but I told her what had happened and she understood. When I got home I waited for school to be out and called Danny and told him what happened. He told me to come over to his house to hang out since he felt really bad for what happened. When I got to his house his mom let me in and led me to his room. "Hey." I said. "Hey I'm super sorry about what happened." Replied Danny. "Don't worry about it, I'm just glad your okay." I said. "Aw thanks." He replied. We talked for a while and got to know each other before I had to go home since it was getting dark. "Bye Danny." I said kissing his cheek as I left. "Bye." He replied blushing.
