Chapter Seven [Old]

Harper's POV

As soon as I get back into my aunt's townhouse, I sink to the ground against the door. Leo is just so cute! I'm too lost in my own thoughts fantasizing about him, that I don't notice Faith standing above me until she giggles.

"Someone's got a boyfriend!!," she yells, giggling all the while. I facepalm and my aunt comes into the room. "Did I just hear that you have a boyfriend now Harper?," Aunt Lauren says, smiling at me. I stand up and awkwardly glance around before dashing upstairs and flopping onto my bed backwards so I'm laying on my back.

"Harper, you can tell me anything, you know that right? I'm here for you," my aunt says, coming in and sitting down on the end of my bed. "I know. I know. It's just I have never had a crush on anyone before, and I'm not sure how I feel about Leo because we just met and-" I say, but she interrupts me. "Ohh, so his name is Leo huh?," she says, smiling.

"Go away," I say, and turn over so my face is buried in the pillow. "Don't want to talk right now? That's fine. I'll be downstairs if you need me," she says, and finally leaves the room. I turn back over onto my back and close my eyes, willing myself to sleep so I can get away from the real world for a few hours, and soon enough, sleep finds me.
