I walked myself to the clinic with an annoyed huff, going inside where I was told my jaw was popped out of place and needed to be set again. I gripped the bed I was sitting on as they did so. My head spinning for a moment as I looked around. My eyes catching sight of a familiar blonde haired girl. She was sittinf in a chair with her legs crossed. She looked pretty banged up. Her knees were skint and her blue skirt was ripped. Her face dirty and hair messy.

"What happened to you?" I asked, not really caring if I were being nosey.

"Fell off the roof." She said. She didn't even look up from her phone.

I watched her as she scrolled. Her hair being pretty strung out even though it was a beautiful shade of golden yellow. Her eyes a blue so deep it had to be contacts. She almost looked like something out of a fantasy movie, the waay her eyelashes cupped her baby blues as gentle as you'd hold an egg.

She looked up after a moment. Revealing a large scrape on the bridge of her nose "What happened to you?" She asked.

"I got hit in the face." I said

"You probably deserved it."

The sass hit me like a brick wall. This girl really didn't give a damn. I smiled, propping in my hand again "So, what was your name?"

"Fiona." She said, setting down her phone to look up so the nurse could stitch the cut on her nose "Yours?"

"You can call me Flame. " I smiled again. Why was I so smiley. I never smiled. I hated smiling. There was just something about this girl that made me not able to help but smile.

"Sweet. So, when did you get here?" Her eyes stayed glued to the ceiling, not even blinking every time a stitch was placed in her nose

"A few days ago. I haven't been here long." I said. Leaning back as I was given an ice pack. Looking up as Marshall came in. My nose twitching in annoyance.

"Hey, Gumball wants to see you after school fia. Something about homework. " Marshall said calmly, not even glancing in my direction

"Yeah, sure thing." She said, her eyes following him as he left.

"So I was wondering," I stated, looking over again, "Would you mind showing me around campus? You seem to know where you're going. "

She smiled, her eyes lighting up again as she collected her bag. "Sure thing dude, I'll show you around later. I gotta get to gym right now."

I smiled again "See you then, Fiona."
