Chapter 4

Jean's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes. The titan had no idea she was there. She had no idea it was there. She put her hand right through it. She walked back to us.

"Was that good?" she asked. Hanji gave her a bear hug in response. She laughed and looked at me. I smiled back. Hanji finally let go. Then it hit her.

"If I don't see the titans, and they don't see me, then what if everyone else in my centry doesn't see them either! What if it was just evolution!" She looked like she felt she was the smartest person on the planet. (We all know i'm the smartest person on the planet though.) Hanji let her go and we both went inside to sleep. It was a long day.

"Uh... Where am I going to sleep?" I looked back at (y/n).

"I have an extra bed you can sleep in." We walked in my room and I saw Eren sleeping on my extra bed. I was about to push him off but I was stopped by (y/n).

"I know you're too awkward to put the option out there, but we could always sleep in the same bed." She said, slightly blushing. I was also blushing at the fact that she said the exact truth. She laid down on my bed and scooted over the most she could, making way for me. I also lay down, but I had a feeling I would stay awake for a while knowing that there was another person sleeping in my bed.

I woke up to (y/n) looking right into my eyes.

"Eh!?" I jumped a little.

"I was wondering when you would wake up!" She smiled. We both got out of bed, she was completely relaxed and I was blushing like crazy. On top of this, I looked up and saw Eren, also blushing. He looked jealous, again. I took (y/n)'s hand and led her out of the room to escape the awkward situation.

"Where are we going?" She asked.

"To eat breakfast, obviously." I replied, smirking.

We arrived at breakfast with the whole cafeteria looking at (y/n) with curiosity in their eyes.

"Now now, I know you all are checking out this fine individual I have brought with me, but i'm stating loud and clear, right now, that she's MINE," I yelled to the cafeteria. Of course, after that, I came face to face with (y/n)'s fist, but I expected that. I put my face in my hands after the rough contact, and sat down. Even though I could tell (y/n) was mad at me, she had no one else to sit by but me. The food was served shortly. I glanced at (y/n) to see if she liked the food, and I was met with the funniest face in the world. She was eating her bread- angrily. I didn't know that was possible, but she pulled it off pretty well. Then I couldn't hold the laughs in any longer. I lost it. The whole cafeteria seemed to stare at me but I didn't care at this point. I stopped laughing when (y/n) flicked me on the forehead. It was harmless but it still made me stop for the most part.

"Are you two done flirting yet?" Commander Levi said strictly. We both nodded and blushed. "Hanji, Erwin and I are going to start to plan a few tests we can do on (y/n). In the meantime I expect you guys to practice combat, especially with (y/n) and get her caught up on everything. With that I take my leave." Levi then, like he said, left and left me to take care of (y/n) and get her caught up. We were both finished with our breakfast, so I walked outside with her to start training.
