Avery's POV-

I wake up to the sound of groans from downstairs. I flip over and put my pillow over my head to block out the noise. The pillow does absolutely nothing so I trudge out of bed and throw on a sweatshirt to cover up my tank top since I'm not wearing a bra.

When I walk down the stairs I notice that Harry is no longer on the couch but sifting through the cabinets in the kitchen.

"Fucking hell where does this girl keep her aspirin." He groans moving stuff around with one hand and holding his forehead with the other.

"Top left hand cabinet." He jumps and turns around.

"Jesus Christ, warn a guy before you scream like that." He says moving to the cabinet to the left.

"Honey, I'm not yelling. You are just really hungover." I laugh and he swallows the small pill.

"Honey huh? I kinda like it." He smirks and I immediately frown remembering last nights results. Harry dancing with a random girl and after him pinning Luke up to the wall. Then as if that wasn't enough coming into my house wasted trying to apologize.

I begin to walk out of the kitchen until Harry grabs my wrist and stops me.

"Avery, wait, I just want to apologize. Last night I was a douche bag and everything about last night went wrong and I really sorry Aves."

My heart flutters when he uses the nickname that he gave to me on the first day that we met and I give in and shoot him a small smile.

"It's alright, people make mistakes." I say but before I can get another word in Harry pulls me closer and puts his lips to mine.

His lips are soft and still taste a little bit like alcohol but I ignore it and put my hands loosely around his broad shoulders.

"I wanted to do that last night but, you know, things got complicated." He shrugs and for a moment he looks distant and upset but returns to his normal sarcastic self less that seconds later.

"Well, I'm glad you got the chance to redeem yourself." I smile and follow him into the living room.

"Listen, I know that this is the last thing that you want to think about right now, but we need to start your training today. We already wasted yesterday when you ditched me for Bonnie so it's time to begin."

I nod my head and stand up to get ready.

"I'll be back in five minutes. I just have to change and then me and you are going for a little run, and if I may say, I plan on kicking your ass in a race." He sends me his signature smirk and I roll my eyes.

"Please, you've got nothing on me." I say walking away accepting the fact that I won that mini battle.

----------

Harry is back within five minutes like he said and I'm just fixing my pony tail in the mirror. My long blondish hair sits in loose curls.

I tie my sneakers and we are out the door. The second I lock the door Harry sprints off the pourch and down the block.

"Let's go Harson! You're slacking already." He back pedals and smirks.

I quickly sprint up to him and then plug in my headphones. I lose myself in the song. I feel weightless, the music distracts me from my sorrows and from my uncertainty on me and Harry's relationship status.
