Our eyes met, for half a second, as we passed in the busy city of New York. Your eyes, brown and deep like milk chocolate, shot through me like a knife. My eyes blue and bright, were only focused on you. We brushed shoulders, making every little vein in my body rush and explode with electricity. You mumbled 'sorry' and I said 'it's okay'. I could feel my heart skipping a beat, so I held my breath. And we walked our separate ways, crossing different paths, continuing our lives. The thing that really kills me, is that I will never know what could've been.

That was until September 16th..
