Chapter 4

Y/n, or Virus, was locked up in the basement while Slender was trying to help Scarlet and Jeff. He brought Ann and Dr. Smiley to see what was wrong. Slender sat on the couch with Emily, Ben, Sam, and the proxys by his side. When Ann and Smiley came out, Slenderman and the others stood up as well.

"Are they going to be ok?" Slender asked.

Ann only shook her head while Dr.Smiley spoke.

"I'm sorry...they might just have a few hours if that..."

Slender grew a dark aura around him and headed for the basement. Ben, Sam, and Emily followed quickly.

Y/n's POV

What have I done? Virus took control and I'm powerless to stop her. I sat in my mind, trapped in the darkness. I just sat there not wanting to look at her. She must have noticed and walked over to me, holding my chin up. When I looked at her I saw she was upset.

"I'm sorry kid, but you should know.."she paused. "I am not in control. Someone is pulling the strings."

I blinked and stared at her. What was she talking about?

"Look, I'm the power within you. I'm a part of your soul and mind," Virus spoke sitting in front of me. "I tried to stay dormant so I wouldn't hurt my, but now that I am in control of your body.."

She shook her head.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing, until fine out soon enough," Virus gave me a sad smile.

"Who is controlling you?" I asked.

Virus went to open her mouth, but a male voice beat her to it.

"I am."

I looked past Virus and saw him...

"Not you..."

He only laughed.

"Show time," he said.

With that Virus cooled slightly, until a her veins went black and her eyes were red rimed.

Ben's POV

I quickly followed Slender to the basement. I will not let her hurt Y/n, until I know we can't save her. Slender stood in front of her with anger.

"What the hell did you do?" He asked.

She only smiled innocent like.

"Oh, it's just a virus. They will die soon and their is nothing you can do about it," Virus laughed. "Might as well spend what time they have felt with them."

Slender broke he chains and wrapped his hand around her throat holding her up. She chuckled and ripped threw the jacket and moved out of his grip. Before he could grab her again, Virus vanished and reappeared behind us.

"Now now, do you really want to kill your friend Y/n?" Virus asked.

I blinked a few times. Y/n was still their? I saw her techno blue eyes change to e/c. She gripped her head, with her eyes changing constantly. Slender stood his ground, while Emily held her blade tightly. Sam, looked worried and stood his ground as I slowly walked over to her.

She body shook and glitch. Soft mutter was heard, but it was static. Her eyes flickered to mine for a split second.

"Y/n?" I spoke quietly.

She looked up at me with e/c eyes and smiled, but clasped on her knees gripping her head tighter.

"Get out of my head...leave me alone..."

I sat in front of her. I place my hand on her shoulder. A laughing sound was heard. I glared and place my other hand on her cheek. She gripped the front of my shirt and smiled a sadistic smile. Her eyes went back to the techno blue. Her other hand held a (your weapon) by her side.

"Ben," Emily spoke in a warning tone.

I ignored her and sat their and smiled back, mimicking her.

"YoU REaLYY SHoulDN't HaVe DONe ThaT, ViRUs," I chuckled quietly and teleported us into a Tv. "YOuR GonNA PaY."

'Virus's' POV

I was in Ben's playground now. This won't make a difference.

"Killing me means killing your beloved Y/n," I smirked. "And I know you wouldn't want that."

Ben's sanity was slipping.

Emily's POV

I slumped to the ground and pulled my knees to my chest. I can't believe we're going to lose them..I can't lose Jeff.

"We are not going to let them die," Sam spoke. "We're going to save them."

"How?" I asked. "How can we save them?"

Sam smiled sadly at me.

"By taking their place."

Ben's POV

I let go of any sanity I had left and attack. I wasn't going to let this monster take my love away.
