Chapter 9 - Hacker's Escape

Ben's POV

Virus stayed I'm my room, usually messing with my gameboy. I didn't mind not really care. I had two more anyways. Y/n and I had many gaming wars, playing cat and mouse when she took my hat, and just snuggling. We mostly played Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat, and just take turns playing Zelda.

Virus would play every now and again, but it wasn't very much. Strangely Virus and Y/n both were able to do better than me on some of my best games. I never understood how. Even if I glitch it they would still win. I am no longer the number 1 gamer. Well on the bright side, they don't rub in there victory. Well as of right now, I was playing one of my games as Virus messed with my game boy. Y/n was downstairs, hanging out with Lost Sliver.

"Hey Ben, you do realize Y/n brother is dead right?" Virus asked.

I paused my game at looked at her.

"How do you now that?" I asked.

Virus turned to me and held out my gameboy.

"Because I trapped Hack into your gameboy and he told me," she answered.

I looked at my gameboy then back at her before taking it. When I looked at the screen kept saying 'your next', 'your fault', 'he's gone', and 'die'. It just continued to flash in that order. I gave my gameboy back to her. I did notice Virus wasn't happy.

"You okay Vi?"

"Fine but I'm concerned that Hack will get out," she replied. "He wants you pasta's dead because that's the way he was programmed. I was too, but I changed it," Virus explained.

"Why did you change it?" I asked.

"Because of you and Y/n..."

"Because of me and Y/n?" I asked.

"Ben, I can feel everything that Y/n doses and I know you both love each other and I hate to say I have the same feeling..."

Y/n's POV

I talked to Lost Sliver about what kind of Pokémon is the best and what was his favorite. Really that's a we talked about was Pokémon.

"Do you like Pokémon Go?" I asked.

"Yeah, I go into the game everyday," Lost Sliver smiled.

Before I could say anything Ben came down the stairs, and sat between us.

"We need to talk upstairs."

Lost Sliver floated off as Ben and I when upstairs. On our way up I felt like I was being electrocuted. I fell on the steps and winced. Ben was by my side  in seconds.

"Love, are you okay? y/n?"

Just seconds later we heard a thud and a laugh that chilled me straight to the bone.

"Virus..." we both mumbled in worried.

We raced up the stairs and tried to open the door, but it was locked. Ben started to bang on the door. He shook the handle and hit the door again. It didn't open. That's when Ben punch his fit straight threw the door with green sparks coming from his fist. Opening the door we found Virus with darkening blue eyes glaring at Hack. I thought he was in the TV...When Virus saw us, her eyes lightened up a bit. Ben kept me behind him.

"Ah, looks like your other half is here with Ben the Bitch," Hacker chuckled.

"Hold your tongue Hacker before I rip it out myself," Ben snapped. "Your out numbered so I suggest that you leave and don't come back."

Hacker only smiled and turned back to Virus.

"Your going to join me one day Virus. Ben and Y/n might be holding down your programming, but they won't forever," his voice echoed in the room as he vanished.

Ben and I went to Virus to see if she was okay.

"You okay Vi?" Ben asked.

"Yeah, perfect. Hacker is out and I was electrocuted. So yeah I'm perfectly fine," she answered sarcastically.

Ben rolled his eyes and turned to me.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, I think so."

"Your alive so yes your fine," Virus snapped.

We both looked at her to see her eyes glazed over. I wasn't sure with what but I know it wasn't good.
