Valentines day

Brendon's POV

I was sitting on the bus with Haley. We were talking about music and what we were going to do when we get out of high school when my phone vibrates. It's a message from Brenda and it says" Happy Valentines Day Brenny boo". I laughed, because that was was the nickname she gave me. I texted her back saying" I love you Love muffin". I had a panic attack. Haley noticed I had a shocked look on my face and she slapped my shoulder. She said" What's wrong"? I said" I forgot to get Today was Valentines day"! She just laughed and said" Oooh, your going to be in the dog house"! I said" It's not funny what am I going to do"?! She said" Calm down the school has a gift shop, go buy her something there". I just relaxed and took her word. When the bus pulled up to the high school and I ran off. The bell rang as soon as we got there. I ran to the gift shop to see it closed. I thought Oh Shit I'm doomed. I turned around to see Brenda. Omg she look so beautiful. Her hair was curled, she was wearing makeup, and she was smiling. I loved her smile it made my day. I said" Hey beautiful". I gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. She said" Hey baby happy Valentines Day"! Then she gave me a bag. Then before I opened it she gave me a kiss on the cheek. Then I opened it to find a big box of chocolates. I loved it! When i was a kid my mom never let me have chocolate because she thought I would get a cavity, now that I'm almost an adult I can have chocolate. I looked at her and said" Thank you baby, I love it"! I gave her a hug and looked at her face. I said" About your present". I put the bag down and held her hands. I said" I wanna give it to you after school, so it will be a surprise". She smiled and said" Ok, just as long as I'm with you a gift don't matter"! I thought aww she's so sweet. I said " We better get to class". So we went to our classes I really hate leaving her. The I saw Ryan and Spencer kissing in the hall way. I poked Ryan on the back and said" Get a room". They laughed. Spencer caught up to me. He said" Hey Brendon, what did you get Brenda for Valentines day"? I said "Nothing, I didn't know today was Valentines day". He just looked at me and said" We'll we will know what happend to you if we don't see you on a while". Then school got dismissed because they thought there was going to be a tornado in an hour. So I caught up to Brenda and said" Ready for the surprise". She smiled and nodded. So we went to my car and I drove us to my house.
