It has been a few years since I wrote this book, and honestly look back and it and cringe so hard. I haven't even had the gut to read it :P

I gasped and dropped my bag, taking two steps back. It was a man. He was only about two feet taller than me, but was looking at me so intently it scared me. He looked about 30, with a handsome face, curly brown hair and deep, ocean-blue eyes. He was also very naked.
I blushed at his lack of clothes and looked away. I wasn't some petty teenager, but this wasn't a situation I'd ever found myself in before. I desperately wanted to ask him who he was - but before I could even begin, he walked up closer to me
... and smelled me. Literally. A big sniff, with his eyes closed. I looked up at him in dumbfound confusion, and he took my face in his big hands, rested his forehead against mine and said:
"Mate."
What. The. F**k.
I kicked him where the sun doesn't shine.
