The morning after the party, you woke up to your head pounding from the loud music from the night before. You reminisced on the events of last night. The fast pace music. Alex's sweet voice singing along to the music. His eyes sparkling in the moonlight. You closed your eyes and smiled. Then the thought of him returning home broke your smile.  You pulled the sheets of bed off and walked to the kitchen. As you opened the fridge, your mother walked into the kitchen. "Hey sweetie," she said. "I'm going to take a nap, I cannot function right when I'm half asleep. You nodded and grabbed the milk and a yogurt. You poured yourself a glass of milk and ate your yogurt. You sat down on the couch and turned on the television. The phone rang. You ran over to the counter and picked it up. "Hello?" "(Y/n)?" You smiled because you knew exactly who it was. "Alex?!" You asked overwhelmed. "Finally, I have been going through all of (y/lastname)'s numbers in your area's phonebook!" Alex said. You laughed. "Wow, really?" You asked. "Yes, I forgot to ask you for your number last night, and I just remembered to ask you as you were driving off." "Oh, I'm sorry. It's just I promised my mother I'd be home at 12 and I never break promises." "I understand, but I was wondering if I could get your cell number? That way I can talk to you anytime I want." He replied laughing. You recited your number and he said he would call you later after unpacking from the tour. After hanging up with Alex, you laid back took a deep breath. You were thrilled knowing that Alex went through all that trouble just to talk to you. Your cell phone started ringing. "Wow, that was quick." You muttered under your breath. You picked up the phone to see your ex-boyfriends name across the screen..
