Final Days at Home

(Author's notes) hey guys! I'm just letting you all know that one I am not dead just busy with my classes and two I am taking requests now. I am also currently working on another story as well for whenever I get writer's block on this one so keep an eye out for that if you are interested. Anyway on with the show!

   You finally let go of each other after another tight hug. As you smiled at one another Pyrrha gave you an once over and smiled even more.

Pyrrha: "Since when have you been so fit?"

You laugh at this.

(Y/N): "Since a couple months ago, dad really put me through the ringer and got the best of me out."
Pyrrha: "The scumbag that tried to kill you?! You went back to that terrible excuse of a father?!"

You quickly shake your head no.
(Y/N): "No, Pyrrha I have a new family now. I got adopted into another family about a couple of months ago."
Pyrrha: "You did?! Where do you live now? Who are your parents? Do they treat you well ...... or rather well enough as you seem to be you know well already."

You smile at her avalanche of questions.

(Y/N): "You have already met my dad and the other two are well.... I guess you could say family to me."
Pyrrha: "I have? Wait you don't mean?!"

You smile at her as she turns back to look at Ozpin.

(Y/N): "My name is (Y/N) Ozpin now."

She stands there shocked for a couple of moments before she gives you another charming smile.

Pyrrha: "I'm so happy for you (Y/N). After all that you have gone through you deserve to be happy.
(Y/N): "Yeah, but I wouldn't have gotten this far if it weren't for you Pyrrha."
Pyrrha: "What do you mean?"
(Y/N): "If I hadn't met you and Silvia when I did I would have killed myself long ago. If it weren't for you always pushing me to never give up I wouldn't be where I am today."

Pyrrha smiles more and pats you on the shoulder.

Pyrrha: "Then I will see you at Beacon. Hopefully we will have the same classes."
(Y/N): "Yeah me too...... Wait what?! You're going to Beacon too?!"
Pyrrha: "Yup! I'm going to Beacon because I felt the program here was better and would help me find some new friends who don't know me as the girl on the Pumpkin Pete's cereal box."
(Y/N): "You're on a cereal box?"

She looks down seemingly embarrassed.

Pyrrha: "Unfortunately, yes. Wait how did you not know about that?"
(Y/N): "Between being homeless and then thrust into a world of intensive training you kind of don't have time to look at cereal boxes."

As you shrug nonchalantly She laughs, bringing a smile to your face.

Pyrrha: "You always know how to make me happy (Y/N)."
(Y/N): "Well when you have such a beautiful smile how could I resist?"

Pyrrha blushes at your comment and was about to say something when you suddenly hear a cough coming from the side of you.

Dad: "Well as much as I enjoy watching you two lovebirds we do have to get going home (Y/N) as I do have work I need to complete."

Both you and Pyrrha blush and look away from each other at being called lovebirds and you rub your head awkwardly while she squeezes her right arm nervously looking at the ground. Finally, you start turning back to Pyrrha.

(Y/N): "I guess I'll see you at school then?"
Pyrrha: "Uhh yeah, I g-guess so."

You hug once more and exchange scroll numbers before you and your father head back to the bulkhead and Pyrrha returns to town.
