Beau: you laugh at something Noah has said as you both reach the front door to your apartment building. You fumble for your keys, still chatting with him as you unlock the door and find Beau sitting at the bottom of the steps, waiting for you. He wears a smile as his head shoots up to greet you, but when he lays eyes on you and Noah, his expression darkens. “What the hell?” he immediately exclaims, clenching his jaw like he always does when he gets upset. “What are you doing with my girlfriend, huh?” he challenges Noah, who looks taken aback and frankly, a bit intimidated. “Beau,Chill! Noah was helping me with my shopping bags. One of them broke in the middle of the street and he was kind enough to give me a hand” you explain in a calm and collected way, trying to calm him down. Beau suddenly seems quite bashful and embarrassed at his explosiveness. “Sorry mate, honest mistake” he says in a small voice, unable to look Noah in the eye. “No worries” Noah simply replies, still looking spooked by Beau’s aggressiveness and taking off almost instantly. “Sorry, babe” Beau murmurs, head bowed. “It’s alright. Jealousy suits you” you grin, ruffling his hair as he helps you carry up the stuff into your apartment.

Daniel: "That is the third time this week you are hanging out with that Keegan guy" Daniel observes, a displeased tone to his voice. He looks grim, playing nervously with his phone, trying to contain his jealousy. "I’m only helping him out, Daniel. He needs tutouring, and I promise I could show him how it’s done" you reassure your boyfriend, planting a swift kiss on his cheek, which doesn’t seem to impact him in any way. "Well then why can’t I come?" he asks. You throw him a pointed look as you continue to put on your shoes. "Don’t be stupid, Daniel. What would you do while Keegan and I do maths? You’d just get bored and distract us. Don’t be so paranoid, babe, I love you and ONLY you" you smile at him, hoping he can sense the honesty from your words. He seems to pick it up on it and a slow, somewhat twisted smile crosses his face. "Fine. But be back soon. We can go out for dinner!" he suggests, to which you happily agree.

Jai: You and your friend, Cassidity, are on the phone, like you usually are, having a heated debate over who is better looking: Ryan Gosling or Channing Tatum. “Are you joking me? Ryan has arms that look like a God sculpted them out of pure sex appeal, i’m telling you, he has MILES on Channing Tatum. He is over rated anyway” you tell her, which sends Cassidity into a counter-argumentative rant over how Channing is OBVIOUSLY the superior man of the two. In the end, you agree to disagree, and you hang up smiling. You love having these chats with Cassidity, it feels like you talk about nothing but everything at the same time. “I though I was your favourite celebrity of all time?” Jai’s voice tones from behind, dropping onto the couch next to you. He obviously caught the end of your conversation. You observe Jai’s face. His tone is light and jokey, but you can sense that he is honestly offended and hurt by you discussing the physique of other male’s. “Well, I mean he IS Ryan Gosling…” you joke back. This is apparently the wrong thing to say. Jai goes very quiet and looks away, which breaks your heart a little, as you never meant to hurt his feelings. “He’s got nothing on you though, baby” you tell him with a grin, setting a soft kiss on his plush lips, which quickly makes him forget all about the jealousy drama.

James: “And he is just the SWEETEST thing, oh my gosh, you should honestly meet him, you’d get along so well! He is super charming, and you can tell he is really intelligent because of the way he talks….” you babble on about your new friend, Preston, who you have meet through a mutual friend. “Can we talk about something else now?” James cuts you off, his voice an array of annoyance, boredom and bitterness. You are confused for a moment, until you take a minute to study your boyfriend, the one who is usually the happiest, cutest and nicest person on earth, “You’re jealous!” you eventually figure out. James says nothing in return, his complexion glum and blushing faintly red. “Awww, Jamesy! You don’t have to worry, your only have one competition for my heart, and his name is chocolate. He lives in my fridge” you joke, trying to make light of things. “You’re a whack job” James remarks, but you can tell all negative feeling shave vanished and his insecurities have as well, which makes you immensely glad. You decide to watch more carefully over who you brag to James about in the future.

Luke: You can feel his eyes burning holes into your back, and almost imagine him grinding his teeth in irritation and frustration over watching you flirt. You giggle, brushing your hand against the guy’s arm, who’s name you’ve already forgotten. It doesn’t matter anyway, you don’t even like him. All he keeps talking about is his position on the football team and tactics. What a bore. You just like playing this game with Luke. You like teasing and winding him up. Not enough to make him actually upset, just enough to make his short temper rise a little and step in, reminding you that you are his and his ONLY. You wonder how long he’ll take this time, kicking up the flirting by a notch, throwing back your head in laughter. That’s when you feel the familiar, tight grip around your arm, and Luke yanking you away from the guy after mumbling an almost inaudible “Excuse me” to him. He pins you against the wall, the fierce glint in his eye indicating his is anything but pleased with your behaviour. “You are a fucking tease. You know I get jealous” Luke breathes lowly against you ear, making you excited. “I know” you say back confidently, demonstrating no regret. He gives you a long look, sighs, and then kisses you passionately, pulling you into an unoccupied room to ensure you know who is boss.
