Zoey's POV*

"Austin, I was jus-" I was cutt off by him shouting at my face.
"Zoey, what the fuck happened to you?  Is everything oka-"
" Just stop, I'll tell you everything"

Yes! I know you all are like "Tell him everything? Are you sure about that, Zoey?"

But your girl Zoe is a smart kid, kind of.

" So that's all that happened?" Austin commented, taking a sip from the now lukewarm cappuccino he ordered from Starbucks.
"Yes?" I said, in a questioning tone.
I don't like lying and I always fail at it.
I just told my all time best friend that Lauren and I fought over the phone because of some school project, which wasn't the best idea.
" You crazy person, stop crying over stupid things. I'm sure you guys will fix everything sooner or later." Austin replied in a duh-tone.
" l hope so, Austie" I said as I elbowed him.

And as things settled down a little and I managed to get away with my little white lie, perfect-Nick ( yes I call him that ) decided to ruin everything and make me suffer.

" Zoey, I've been searching for you everywhere. I'm sorry I didn't mea-" Nick said, gasping for breath as he gave Austin a disgusted look.
" Oh, um, hi Nick. What are you doing here?" I thought of this clever response to cover things up, with my infamous glare that probably made my lie noticable to Austin.
"Um, I was.." Nick started stuttering.. damn, he should be called stupid-Nick.
" Nevermind that. Austin, this is Nick, my cousin. Nick, this is Austin, my all time best friend" I squeaked as I gave Austin a lil friendly hug.
" Yeah I saw him with you earlier. Nice to meet you, Picasso's Wannabe." Nick remarked, as he rolled his eyes and walked away.
" Um.. he's weird" I mouthed, saying such a self-explanatory thing to an annoyed Austin.

" See ya later Aussie!"

No, Austin is not Australian, not even a single bit..  which is quite 'pun'ny if you wanna say.

Damn, I'm hilarious.

" Okay but what was that all about?" Nick screamed at me as soon as we got home.
"little white lies, little white lies" I sang.
What. I'm answering him and jamming to 1D at the same time, hitting two birds with one stone here!
"Oh" was his response. Is he mad?
"Well..."
" I don't wanna be your cousin tho..."

Lmao you wish

" Neither do I"
" You want us to be more than that" He said while having a huge evil smirk on his face, causing me to blush.

I looked away, trying to prevent him from seeing my crimson red face.. but I failed so hard.

" Blushing.. I know I'm hot" Nick said, pretending to make a hair flip.

" Okay okay, enough playing around and let's just go sleep. Nightie"

Monday.
Aka
Worst day of the week.
Why? Just why.. why do I have to do all this school-thingie? Can't I just stay home and eat Nutella all day everyday?

3 classes passed.
1 more to go.
And now it's my favorite time of the day, lunch break.
Even though the cafeteria is not the best, but the Lasagna here is the reason I'm still​ alive.
Anyways, I put some food and filled my plates (oops?) and sat with Lauren, a new girl called Gabriella , and Austin in our favorite table.

From the corner of my eye I could see Nick, being all swaggy and sitting with the 'popular kids-savages- you can't sit with us ' squad.

This section of the cafeteria is literally unapproachable, none of us is allowed to sit near the popular kiddos, unless he wants to die so that's a whole different story.

I managed to take a glimpse of who was sitting there as well, and I realized that Amelia was there. Sitting right next to Nick. Woah, what a coincidence.

If you're wondering who Amelia is, she's Lauren's sister. We used to hang out a lot, back in the days when she was a normal nerdy girl. Now she's all 'tumblr af' and a mean girl who no one likes except her squad.

She's actually on bad terms with everyone, even her own family. As soon as she aged 18 years old, she moved in with a girl who is two years older than her, leaving her parents and Lauren behind and ignoring them, so Lauren is actually pissed off at Amelia.

I wonder what brought Nick and Amelia together in the same squad when they're literally so different than each other.

I guess that's to be discovered later.
