Sting entered his home, water dripping to the ground. He was drenched in water, it was storming outside. He was about to call out for Lector, only to remember that he was with Rogue and Frosch along with Shiro, and those two had gone off on a job the last time he saw them. Probably not back yet.

"Aki!" He called out, he received no reply except for the thundering noise outside.

He raised an eyebrow. "Aki?" He walked up the stairs to his room, opening the door.

Thunder was heard once more, accompanied by a small yelp. His ear twitched slightly, recognising the cute sound from anywhere and went inside the room. His eyes landed on the back of a figure hiding in the corner, trembling. "Aki?" He repeated, walking over to her.

She didn't respond, only glancing slightly behind her. Her scared, red orbs revealed to the young blonde.

Don't tell me she's scared of thunder?

She yelped once more as thunder was heard, answering his silent question. He admitted the sound she produced was cute, but he didn't like the scared look on her face and he wanted to change that. He walked over to her and pulled her into a back hug, her body trembled against his.

She must be really scared.

Akiko turned around, hugging onto him for dear life. He stroked his hair, mumbling sweet nothings into her ear to try and calm her down. Her body didn't shake as much as before, but it was still shaking ever so slightly. Sting did notice that he was dripping wet, but he didn't care. He only cared about the girl that was shaking in front of him, fear present in her mind.

He picked her up bridal style, walking over to the bed and placing her there. He mumbled "I'll be back, promise. Just stay here."

He took the quickest shower in the world, quickly came out and dried himself. Putting on his pants before walking back to the bed. His eyes glued to the black-haired female, her body was once more trembling violently, her eyes had signs of tears in them.

He sat down on the bed, before crawling over to her. He hovered over her, staring down at her. One of his legs between hers and each of his hand on either side of her body, practically trapping her. She was so vulnerable in front of him, her eyes showed fear and vulnerability, something he doesn't see everyday. He was beautiful the way she was at the moment, but the tears in her eyes, he didn't like it.

He whispered "Please don't cry," he bent down, gently licking the tears away. "I don't like it when you cry," her eyes widen. "I'm here for you," he pinned down her wrists before bending down and pulling her into a sweet kiss.

She didn't respond, but he could already tell that she had melted into the kiss in a heartbeat. He licked her bottom lip, asking for entrance. She didn't hesitate to open it and he slipped his tongue inside. The kiss easily becoming a heated one. He explored her mouth, leaving no places untouched by his. A small moan escaped Akiko's lips, muffled by Sting's lips. His hand traveled up to her hair, pulling the ribbon out of her hair and onto the nightstand.

He pulled away, licking the saliva that had dripped from her mouth. He looked into her eyes, before moving down to her neck. He gently nipped her skin with his teeth, she yelped slightly, both in pleasure and surprise. He found her small sounds adorable and cute, a turn on for himself really. He licked, nibbled and sucked her neck, leaving small red marks on her neck. He was searching for her sweet spot, he found it after hearing a quiet moan escape her lips on a specific spot.

He nipped the spot, causing her to moan just a little louder. She threw back her head, allowing him more access to her neck. While tormenting her soft spot, she unintentionally lifted her leg that was in between his legs, her knees grinding onto his manhood. He groaned against her neck, turning her on slightly. He said huskily "Don't do that, Aki. I won't be able to hold back if you do," he placed his hand on her cheek, pulling her into a kiss once more.

He pulled away and leaned his forehead on hers. "There's no reason to be afraid," he whispered quietly. "I'll always be here for you," his grip loosens on his grip.

His arms wrapped themselves around her body, pulling her close to his bare chest. She nuzzled into the crook of his neck, their legs tangled with each other. Sting pulled the blanket over them to keep them extra warm, before both of them fell asleep together.

---

Akiko opened her eyes, feeling someone playing with her hair. She looked up to see Sting staring at her. Sting greeted "Morning, Aki."

"Morning Sting," she mumbled.

She could hear the sounds of rain outside, but didn't pay much mind to it. She was about to fall asleep again when she remembered something, something that had to do about last night. A deep red blush bloomed on her face, catching Sting's attention. "Is something wrong, Aki?" he asks, trying not to chuckle at her cuteness.

She stuttered, her eyes spinning "Y-Y-You s-saw m-me a-at m-m-m-my w-weakest s-state."

Cute, she's being shy now, Sting thought to himself, slightly chuckling. Funny that's what she's worried about than us making out. He ran his fingers through her hair, saying "Does it really matter? I mean, you are my mate and girlfriend after all."

"I'm your mate, but not your girlfriend," Akiko said, confusing Sting. "You still haven't asked me yet."

Sting laughed, before asking in a mocking tone, although he was very serious about it "Will you be my girlfriend, Akiko?"

She chuckled at it herself, before snuggling into him. "Of course," she mumbled. "As long as you don't cheat on me or break my heart or anything."

He replied "I promise I won't, dragon slayers can't cheat anyway."

"Why's that?" She asks.

"Dragon slayers are completely loyal to our mates," he began. "We would die first before cheating on them, completely impossible. It would be like killing us being rejected by our own mate. Not that I would cheat on you even if I wasn't a dragon slayer," he finished, twirling a strand of her hair around his finger.

Akiko smiled slightly, before getting comfortable in their position. "If you say so.... Besides, I would kill you if you were to break my heart anyway."

He chuckles, "That's probably true. Now get some sleep, you've got some catching up to do on that."

She nuzzles into the crook of his neck, her body relaxing as he played with her hair. It wasn't long before she drifted off into unconscious. Her last words before she fell into completely slumber, was "I love you.. Sting..."

He hugged her tightly, not enough to wake her up though. He whispered back, even though he knew that she couldn't hear "I love you too, Akiko. Always."
