Everything about you is so terrible

Jeremy woke up and ripped his covers off, gripping the poles of the bunk bed, his chest heaving in and out rapidly.

What he had just experienced, was it real? was it a dream? A flashback? He had passed out right after the voice, but it still felt so real.

He decided to just ignore it, for now, maybe it was just a dream after all. Jeremy was going to go on with his day as planned, and forget about what had happened.

After the return of the Squip had left Jeremy's memory, he started thinking about Michael again. He sighed and pulled his covers back up, covering them up to his neck. Jeremy felt as if Michael was drifting away from him. The slushy-loving boy was always out in the day time, and as soon as he got home Michael would go to sleep.

Jeremy's heart pace quickened as he had a terrible thought.

What if Michael was seeing another man?

No, no no no. That wouldn't happen. Michael was as loyal as a golden retriever. He wasn't one to cheat. Plus, Jeremy and Michael had been friends since kindergarten and had a thing for each other for longer then they would both like to admit.

Jeremy shook the memory from his head. Normal routine, stop worrying.

He lifted his head up off the pillow and checked the time. 8:36. Yeah, not bad.

He started to make his way down the ladder, foot after foot, when Jeremy abruptly felt his arm jerk back as if he had been electrocuted.

The tall boy lost balance and fell to the hard, wooden floor.

The hard ground made a loud "thud" as Jeremy's head made contact with the solid material.

The wind was knocked out of him immediately. Jeremy sat there trying to breathe and understand what happened.

Was that static electricity? No.. Did he just lose his balance? No, he definitely felt a shock.

After around two minutes of trying to stand up, he gained the ability to breathe at a fair pace, and he pushed his body up with his lanky arms.

He rubbed the back of his head as he started walking away from his bed.

"Jeremy, dude, what happened? Did you hit your head? I thought you were sleeping on the top bunk?"

Jeremy moved his gaze off the floor over to his half-asleep boyfriend looking at him, a confused expression painted on his face.

"I'm fine, dude, I just- I fell off the ladder" Jeremy replied, trying to keep his cool.

Michael sat up on the couch and stared at his melted slushy on the table next to him. Jeremy guessed he was so tired he forgot to finish it from the night before.

Jeremy sat cross-legged on the floor opposite his lover, with only the table to separate them. But Jeremy thought there was more blocking in between them.

"H-Hey, Michael?" Jeremy asked in a stutter

Michael looked up into Jeremy's eyes, "Hmm?" he mumbled.

"We're out of food. Would you want to come shopping with me? I-I mean you don't HAVE to if you don't want to if you are busy with someon- someTHING else then yeah sure that's cool I guess." Jeremy finished the sentence off with a nervous giggle and a red face.

Please, oh please please say yes.

Jeremy felt like the biggest loser on the planet. Begging his boyfriend to come shopping with him.

"I'd love to, Jeremy," Michael added, sweetness in his tone

The tensed muscles Jeremy had soon relaxed and a smile started to spread across his face. Butterflies started fluttering in his stomach and his face felt hot.
