Don't Let Me Go {Malec}

Chapter 2

A week passed and Alec's demeanor had not changed at all. Jace and Izzy had finally had enough of this moping around they decided to take matters into their own hands.

"Ya I'll be there just give me a few minutes to get ready." The Warlock was not excited to go see his ex but Alexander needed him and he was still the most important thing in the world to Magnus. He decided to look good but not be overwhelming. His outfit choice was a graphic Tshirt that Alec had said was his favorite, skinny jeans, vans, and his normal glitter. The Warlock glanced at his apartment and headed to the institution.

"Alec you have to change you have to talk to someone today."
"Fine whatever just hand me whatever." Alec had completely given up Magnus was his everything and it was gone now and he would never get it back. Jace didn't know what to do so he just threw him a pair of black pants and a black shirt, Alec's usual style.
"Alec promise me that you will talk to them for at least a few minutes."
"Okay whatever."
"Alec I'm serious" Alec nodded in response and once Jace left the room Alec changed and then rested his head on the pillow.

A few minutes later he saw a figure walk in. He didn't recognize him at once but after sitting up he noticed him immediately. Alec jumped out of bed and ran over to Magnus and threw his arms around his neck just holding him in a hug for a moment before remembering what happened and pulling away:
"Hello Alexander." Alec just stared at him.
"I know I'm probably the last person you want to talk to right now but I got a call from Izzy and Jace saying you needed to be talked to. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry I should've never said that to you I'm so, so sorry Alexander I know you can never forgive me, but I do hope you can come to meet me in the middle and at least go back to being the old happy Alec."
"By the angel you're worthless" Alec mumbled under his breath.
"What was that?"
"By the angel you're worthless." Alec said he wasn't even trying to fight back tears and they began to fall.
"That's the stupid phrase you said to me. You called me worthless, Magnus you know how much that hurt. You don't understand I've never killed a demon, so I am just there to protect some would call me worthless, but when it came from you it hurt a thousand times more than it would have if it had come from Jace or Izzy. I love you Magnus, and on top of that it took my parabati and my sister calling you to make you apologize you didn't call me. You didn't talk to me. I needed to talk to you I needed to fix this." At this point they were both crying Alec much more severe but Magnus wasn't far behind.
"I'm so sorry Alexander I thought you wouldn't want to talk to me."
"I didn't at first, but then I realized that I need you."
"I'm so sorry Alexander."
"You should be. You hurt me a lot." The two boys couldn't make eye contact with one another through the tears streaming down their faces.
"Alexander..." Magnus hesitantly walked closer to Alec and reached for his hand Alec resisted for a moment, but then let Magnus take his hand and pull it into his chest the two boys were so close to one another their foreheads nearly touching, their hearts beating fast, they both wanted the same thing.
"I would never do anything to purposely hurt you that phrase it came out of no where I'm so, so, so, sorry Alexander."
"It's okay Magnus."
"No it's not I should've never said it or even thought it Alexander how can you ever forg-" The Warlock was cut off by Alec smashing his lips onto Magnus' it was perfect no matter how messy or how much they were crying that kiss was perfect. Magnus began running his hands through Alec's hair as Alec in return grabbed Alec's waist and pulled him closer.
"Magnus..." Alec asked in between each kiss
"Yes Alexander." Magnus began kissing Alec's neck.
"I love you I always have and I always will no matter what."
"I will to Alexander I will to."

The next morning Alec woke up before Magnus and he just stared at the Warlock. He studied him from the way he was laying to the graphic Tshirt he was wearing. Alec smiled as he remembered that it was the shirt he bought Magnus before their first movie date though it was at Magnuses house it was still just as special he kept replaying memories from that night in his head until Magnus woke up.
"Well good morning Alexander."
"Morning sleepyhead." They lightwood smiled as he ruffled Magnuses hair.
"What is my hair messed up?" Magnus teased fully knowing that Alec had slightly messed up his hair. The two boys just stared at one another for a few minutes they hadn't been able to do this in so long. Just look at each other admire one another and accept the flaws and love each other as one flaws and all.
"What do you want to eat?" Alec asked as he began to get up but, Magnus grabbed Alec by the hem of his shirt and pulled him back onto the bed smashing his lips into Alec's in the process. Magnus swung his leg over Alec and began pushing him down onto his back their lips never breaking contact the whole way down. They stayed like this for quite a few minutes.
"Magnus..." Alec began once the boys broke contact so they could breathe.
"I have to get up or Izzy will think I'm crying after the conversation and come check on m-"  in that moment Izzy walked in on the two boys she stood their and stared at the two boys for a moment. Magnus began to laugh and Alec stared back at her in shock his face red as a strawberry.
"Ummm I guess I'm gonna go since the conversation went well last night."
Alec was to embarrassed he couldn't even bring himself to speak he just slowly nodded his head as Izzy turned on her heels and left the room leaving the two boys alone. Magnus just continued to laugh.
"Hey it could've been worse", Magnus teased. Alec turned his gaze to the pillow the Warlock was resting his head on. Suddenly he grabbed it and hit Magnus with it.
"So mature Alexander." But Magnus was way ahead of the Shadowhunter boy and grabbed the other pillow and began beating him with it in return.
"Magnus stop!" The pillow fighting did stop on cue, but Magnus leaned in and the two boys locked lips once again falling back onto the bed.
