Don't Let Me Go {Malec}

Chapter 4

Once the two lovers got home they chose a sappy rom com that Magnus loved and adjusted themselves on the couch so that Alec was resting his head on Magnus' chest. They got a few minutes into the movie when Alec began to groan.
"What's wrong Alexander."
"I'm bored I don't like this movie."
"Alexander we're only ten minutes in at least try to watch it."
"Fine." Two maybe three more minutes passed before Alec began to groan again.
"Magnus!"
"What is it Alexander?"
"I'm still bored."
"At least try Alexander it hasn't even gotten good yet."
"Well that's obvious." Alec sat up and faced Magnus staring at him while pouting.
"I don't like it."  Magnus readjusted so that his legs were stretched out in front of himself and he was staring at his boyfriend.
"Just try Alexander."
"I did try and I didn't like it." Alec took the opportunity of Magnus' new found position and placed a hand on his chest and leaned in with their lips centimeters away from one another.
"I said I was bored."
"And I heard you" Alec leaned in and pressed their lips against one another the pair of lips were moving in sync like this was supposed to be. Alec grabbed Magnus by the hem of his shirt and pulled him in closer deepening the kiss. Magnus had put one hand on his back and one running through the Shadowhunters dark black hair. Alec began running his hands up Magnus' shirt and he allowed it and they didn't break the kiss at all. Magnus' shirt began rising up as Alec was pulling it off, but when it was almost off Alec's phone rang. The two broke the kiss, disappointed they had to end it.
"Ya mhm I'm on my way. Sorry Magnus I have to go there's a demon and they need backup."
"You go do you're job Alexander I'll be here watching my movie. Be safe!"

Alec got to the place where the demon was supposed to be, but it was gone all that was there was Izzy and Jace talking.
"Sorry Alec we defeated it before you got here guess we didn't need you're help after all" Izzy smiled at her brother.
"It's okay I wanted to talk to the two of you anyways."
"About what, that Warlock didn't do anything to you did he?"
"Well he did-"
"That no good little son of-"
"BUT" Alec interrupted Jace not wanting him to go on. "In a good love sick kind of way."
"Alec what's going on?" Izzy asked somewhat concerned for her brother.
"Well we went to this new diner that just opened and we were eating and these two people got engaged and it made me realize that... I want to pu-" before Alec could finish Izzy screeched but in a good way.
"Izzy come on I didn't get to hear the end."
"You didn't figure it out? ALEC WANTS TO PROPOSE TO MAGNUS!"
"You want to what?!" Jace asked turning to face Alec.
"I want to propose to him."
"Look Alec I support you but don't you want to think this over first. You guys just got back together he hurt you so badly."
"That's why I'm doing it because it was torture being without him this way I know I will never be without him."
"Well I think it's wonderful, Alec. How can we help?"
