Chapter 4

APHMAU'S P.O.V
I have been in my room and haven't left once... I looked out my window to see Laurence sitting at the front door... He will never leave... He will stay there all night if he has to... I hear a car come to a stop and I see my mum get out. She walked over to Laurence and asked what he was doing here. She let him in so I ran to my door and locked it so he wouldn't come in. "Aph... I know your in there... Talk to me... Please..." He says from the other side of the door. I was sitting on my bed thinking about how I'm going to survive without food or water... When all of a sudden I hear footsteps coming up the stairs... "Laurence it's getting late... You should home..." I hear my mum say. "No... I want leave her!" He raises his voice a little. "Your parents are going to be worried about you... I can talk to her for you if you want? You don't seem to be getting any information form her..." My Mum says. "I won't leave... I'll always be here for her!!!" He is getting very angry. "Ok... You can stay... But please, at least call your parents to tell them where you are... Ask me if you need anything..." My mum says and walks back downstairs... "Aphmau... Please... Just talk to me... I don't care what it is your upset about... I just want to help you..." I don't know what to do at this point... Should I talk to him or not... Will he laugh at me... Will he not like me... I don't know what to do!

LAURENCE'S P.O.V
I've been sitting outside Aphmau's bedroom door for hours... but she won't talk to me... her mum tried to get me to go home but I refused to leave aphmau's side... I called my parents to say I was staying over at a friends house and they are fine with it... though I don't even know if we are friends... she isn't talking to me... so I don't know anymore... "aph... please tell me what's wrong... I want to help you... please.... just... talk to me..." I have been trying to get her to talk to me for the past few hours... I hear her crying... I hate it when she's upset... "aph... please...." I want to break down her door but that isn't going to help at all... I just want to help her... maybe I should leave... "Laurence..." I hear her say quietly... "aph?" I say back... "why? Why did you stay...? You can go home... you don't need to stay..." she says. "Why? Because I... I.... care for you... more then you know..." I say mumbling the end part... I hear a door click and I look up to see aph opening her door slowly... she looks down at me and sees a tear run down my face... "Laurence..." "aph..." I say standing up... she walks further into her room and sits on her bed... i close the door behind me and sit on next to her on her bed... she starts to cry even more and I hold her in my arms... "tell me... what's wrong..." I ask her... "I.....can't..." she says... "why?" "Because.... it will ruin your relationship with Michi..." she says... I look at her knowing what she is about to say... "Laurence.... I...." "aph... I love you!" I say. "What?" She asks. "I do love Michi, but.... with you... I... I love you more then anything and anyone!" "What? Then.... why... why are you with Michi?" I ask. "Because... I thought I loved her... but then you came along and I realised how much I loved you... i was thinking this morning that I would break up with Michi and confess to you... but you didn't talk to me..." I explained. "... Michi.... she's going to be so upset if you break up with her..." she says. "In this situation... we can't put others first... I love you more then anything and Michi... while I do love her and all the time we spent together... I just don't feel the same way about her... your special... I'm going to break up with Michi tomorrow... now I know that you feel the same way about me... I feel better about ending it with her... we don't have to get together straight away... it's up to you what you want to do... I'll be going home now... goodbye aph..." I say as I head to the door. "Bye Laurence..." she says back to me...
