"Taehyung! Are you going somewhere?" Jimin asked Taehyung when he saw the younger hurry his way outside the door. Taehyung stopped on his tracks and faced his hyung with his signature boxy smile plastered on his face.
"Chim don't you remember? Me and Jeongguk are celebrating our fourth anniversary since we met each other today!" He replied cheerfully. Jimin was quite taken aback by what the younger has said but he immediately puts up his eye-smile.
"Is that so? Wow time flies by so fast! Okay go ahead and have fun!"
Taehyung skipped his way outside his apartment and whistled a tune much to his liking. He got inside the car and drove his way to a nearby flower shop to pick up the flowers he ordered yesterday.
"Grandma! I'm here to pick up the flowers!" He shouted as he scurried his way towards the counter. He inhaled the scent of every flower that's inside the shop, trying his best not to sneeze because of the pollens.
"Is that you, Taehyunggie?" The old woman asked as she took a peek from the storage room. She then paved her way out, wiping both of her hands off the worn out apron she was wearing.
The lady has been close to Taehyung ever since he moved inside his shared apartment with Jin and Jimin. She was a kind neighbor that totally helped him in terms of adjusting a new lifestyle in Seoul.
"Yes! Did I interrupt something?" Taehyung asked worried. The lady just smiled at him warmly and ruffled his hair.
"Nope. Your timing is just perfect because I already finished yours. Here, take these. I've added some extra tulips plus you don't have to pay for it," Taehyung's smile disappeared upon hearing what the old lady said. He huffed a sigh and shook his head rather aggressively.
"No, grandma! I have to pay for these. You've worked extra for this and I don't want to burden you. Please, let me just pay for it," Taehyung insisted. It took more than five minutes or so before convincing the old lady to accept his money.
"You should probably go before I change my mind and return the money to you again," she said jokingly which made Taehyung ran out of the shop so fast. He entered the car and placed the flowers on the back seat.
He is now driving towards the restaurant he decided to reserve so that no one will bother their date. He stepped on the brake when he saw the light turn to red. As he waited for the green light, he immediately picked up his phone, hoping that the younger have texted him by now.
His smile turned into a frown when no new notifications alerted him. He opened his inbox and scrolled through the last message he has received from the younger. It was last night.
