Chapter 3

Then next thing I knew, I was in the nurse's office and the smell of roses around me.

"Hey, are you okay? You hit your head pretty hard when you went down. If only I was quicker." The girl that I think that is my mate said.

"Hey, I think I'm fine. I just have a headache. Can I ask? Who are you?" I say trying not to be rude but I don't know her name and I would like to know.

"OK? That's a first. My name is Kimberley Jones. PLEASE DON'T SCREAM!" She begged and covering my mouth with her hand. I reach up to her hand and slowly remove it from my face when I did all I could feel was sparks. The sparks that I could feel was like electricity flowing from one of us to the other. There is no way she didn't feel it too. I was getting lost in her deep brown eyes when I did so.

"Don't worry, I won't. I would never. In a good way don't worry. I'm just not a big fan of movies. I more of like anime like Fairy Tale." As I said that she let out a big sigh. 

"I'm not sure I should be offended or not? But don't worry its fine. So... can I get your name?" Kimberley asked me. I could not believe Kimberley Jones was my mate. I know this as Scarlet still could not stop screaming mate and howling at me. At least this time it wasn't as loud so I could have a train of thought.

"Amber. Amber Lycanthrope," I said. I know my last name gives away that I'm a werewolf and all but no one has guessed yet. So yeah.

"Cute name. Do you mind if you show me around as I'm sure you heard that I'm now going here? At this point, I think I'm going to like it here."

"Sure. It's at least I could do. So what do you have first?" I ask, not expecting the answer to be what it is.

"Maths. I hate maths but we have to do it. I swear they are trying to kill us with boredom when they tell us to do maths." After she said that my mouth fell open and finally I told her,

"Same here. And I know right I hate maths. Come on I will show you where that is." We walked out and headed to class. When we got there we walked in and everyone went silent. I swear you could hear a pin drop because it was so quite. I walked to the back to sit next to Hunter and Erin as they were also in this class. Kimberley followed me to the back and sat next to me as Mr. Murfey told me to share my notes with her so she could catch up. I was happy to do so. Then Hunter leaned over and whispered,

"WHAT THE HELL! HOW DO YOU KNOW HER?!" He shout-whispered.

"I don't. We just met. But I will tell you this. I'm pretty sure she's my mate." His face fell in shock.

"Are you sure?" He said after shaking his head.

"Well Scarlet screamed mate in my head which coursed me to pass out."

"That's why you passed out? And here I was thinking it was because of my stunning good looks." He said and pretended to flip hair that he did not have. He may look all tough but on the inside he's just a big teddy bear. Oh did I forget to mention he is very gay but deep in the closet. I'm the only one who knows. We both giggled and then Mr. Murfey  turned around and said 

"Care to share what's so funny you two?" We both stopped laughing and looked at him. Then Hunter had to open his big mouth.

"But we're not aloud are phones out in class so I can't share what is funny on Facebook or Twitter." He said with a grin on his face. The whole class laughed. I just lent back in my chair. Then after the laughter died down we got back on with the lesson. Towards the end, Kimberley leaned over to me and said,

"I know your a wolf and that your my mate." Her words left me stunned. Was she a wolf? If so, how was she hiding it from the public?
