Wolf Love (GxG)

Chapter 6

When we drove home with Hunter in the back, we had the radio on. As we were droving, on came one of my favorite song, Fight Song by Rachel Platten.

"God I love this song," I said then turned up the music.

 I couldn't help but sing along. I don't think I'm a good singer but everyone else seem to think I can. I was just singing and dancing along and then there was just them two giggling and then started to sing along as well.

we eventually got home. Me and Kim said goodbye to Hunter as he lives in another house to us. OK yes, it's right next door but his mum and dad (the beta) decide to build a house so they can start a family. Not long after Hunter came along.

I unlocked the door and shouted to see if Stephen was here.

"STEPHEN?! YOU HERE?!" 

"I'M IN THE KITCHEN!" He replied. My house was one of the biggest of the pack houses but it's only me and my uncle in this house as when he took me home that day he found me, he decided to give me my own space for me to vent. When I get older and I get stronger. We put a gym in the house so I could punch things safely. Doing this I learned how to control it. As when I get angry, I would change so I started boxing so I took out my anger. I also started to meditate. You would be surprised, it helps.

We walked into the kitchen. I haven't told my uncle I was bringing someone. It was a bit of a surprise but I think that he thinks that Kim is a friend and not a mate. I walked in and me and my uncle did our little hand shake. He then looked behind me and saw Kim.

"Who's this?"

"This is Kimberley do you mind if she stays the night. She's new to the school so I said that I would show her my notes." I said walking to the fridge to get myself a monster.

"Yeah, that's fine, as long as your parents are Ok with it?" He said looking to Kim.

"I live alone actually. My parents passed in a car accident. I was raised by my aunt. And she's back in L.A." She told us. I didn't know that. I could see the sadness in her eyes. All I wanted to do was go over to her and convert her but as Stephen was there and he didn't know I was gay, I couldn't.

"I'm sorry to hear that. Amber lost her parents as well. She was only 5 when it happened. After my brother died I took her in and raised her as my own as my wife passed before we had any children." When did he say that. I wasn't ready to tell her that. I could see the sorrow in her eyes. When he said that, I could only think of bad memories.

"Ok, that's enough of that. Let's go to my room," I said heading to the door and grabbed her hand and was about to drag her to my room so I could do what I really wanted to do (kiss her, if you were thinking something else, you will have to wait and see if that happens or not.) But Stephen had to open his mouth.

"Ok. oh, wait. I wanted to ask. Did you find your mate? Did you find him?" I stopped dead in my tracks. I couldn't even look back.

"You know I was thinking of mum and dad today," I told him still not wanting to tell him whilst avoiding the question.

"I know it's hard for you on your birthday but your mate is a part of you. Do you know who he is at least? Normally if you don't meet them, which is rare, your wolf will tell you the name so you can try to find and meet them."

"I did. Now can I go?" I told him kind of regretting it the moment I said it.

"What? Why didn't you invite him over? I would like to meet him." I could tell he was excited but I was dreading what came next.

"I did but you have already met them." All I could think to myself was 'God, what's he going to say next.'

"I have? then where is he? I may be old but I'm not that old." Dread. Dread was all I could feel. I knew that Kim could tell. I looked to my side so I could see Kimberley, I could tell that she was worried for me. I turned around and told him.

"Stephen, meet my mate, Kimberley." I could see that he was shocked. But I had to continue. 

"I'm Gay and I've always known." I was so scared of what he was going to say next. God, this is killing me. I could feel the tiers coming on. He didn't say anything for a while but then he shook his head and snapped out of it.

"It's ok. You're my daughter and I love you for you. Even if your mate is a girl or a boy. You are how you are. And I just want you to be happy." He said walking over to me. After he said that he gave me a big hug. I wasn't expecting that. All I could do was smile and hug him back. I looked to the side and saw Kim smiling. We separated from the hug. I grabbed Kim's hand and intertwined our fingers. 

"We're going upstairs. Are you sure you're not mad?"

"How could I be. You're happy. And that's fine. Dinner will be at 6:00. Kim, would you like to stay for dinner?" He told me. I was so glad he doesn't care.

"Sure I would love to. You sure you don't mind Amber?"

"Why would I mind? I love having you around." After that, we walked upstairs into my room hand in hand.
