Wake up, wake up
Gotta get this paper, get this cake up
Gotta do my hair, gotta put on makeup
Gotta act like I care about this fake stuff
Jhene Aiko sings on my alarm waking me out of my sleep. That song gets me ready for another boring day in Eastside High School. I sit up in my comfortable full size bed and yawn. As I pull off my purple and black zebra print blanket the morning air chills my skin making my goose bumps visible. I stretch a little and hop out of bed into my cute purple bunny slippers. My pajamas are blue, purple, and white polka dots shorts and a purple tank top. If you haven't notice by now purple is my favorite color! I slowly walk to my bath room while singing the rest of the "Bed Peace" song...
What I am trying to say is
The love is ours to make so we should make it
It's something about listening to music in the morning that sets my chill. Without music I think I'd be the biggest bitch in the world. My part of the song comes on Childish Gambino raps his verse and I run to my radio and turn the mafucka up! I began rapping Childish's verse with him all hype like using my "Drake Hands"
It's not love, but it's pretty close
Hot fudge and a little smoke
I didn't mean it means nothing to you
Hands locked on my black couch with nothing to do
Can't stop on cloud 20
Buried in the drugs, but the feels keeps coming
Before I can go any further I hear powerful knocks on my bedroom wall. The sound instantly made me jump and scream. I hate being caught of guard!
As I'm catching my breath I can hear my brother Roc yell "Aye yo Jalani shut the fuck up with all that rapping shit! It's too damn early for that!"
I bang back on the wall just as hard and reply a simple "Shut the hell up" and continue bumping.
Roc can be such an ass but he's still my big brother.
After I shut that nigga up I did all my daily hygienes and got dress for school. It was March and the weather was still a bit cold. I curled my hair into wild curls. My outfit was simple black jeggings, white shirt, navy blue Hollister sweater, jean vest, black and white vans, and my nerdy prescription glasses. I never wear makeup unless it's lips gloss or eye shadow. I was simply cute even though I'm a big girl! I wear my 230 pounds well if I do say so myself.
