Cassie POV

"No guys move the table a little to the right, Amir hang the balloons a little higher, Roc put some ice and soda in the cooler, Summer make sure Dré and Michael place and set the table properly." All this hard work must be done. My best friend is arriving today and she's gonna love this party. The guys think it's just a simple get together, but it's so much more than that!

"Massa Cassie, why aren't you doing anything? I'm working and sweating and slavery is all the way over." Dré asked making everyone laugh. He always wanna play around.

"First of do not call me massa. I am working just like you all are. I'm the coordinator to be exact and I'm just tryna make sure shit is perfecto" I said to them with my hands on my hips.

"Cassie we know, but is all this necessary? We could have just went to the beach or something." Summer said fanning herself with her hand.

"Everything has to be perfect for Lani Summer." I said. Everyone looked at me as if they seen a ghost. Shit! I fucked up.

"What did you say?" Amir said releasing the blue balloon and walking up to me. This tall ass nigga really blocked the sun in my eyes.

"I said uh everything has to be perfect for you and me Summer" I replied nervously pointing at Summer and myself.

"Bullshit man! Why you ain't tell me that girl was coming?" He was trying to keep his composure and did I hear him correctly? Did he just say that girl?

"Excuse me? What do you mean by that girl?" I asked pointing my finger on his chest. Everyone was just looking at the both of us with unreadable expressions.

"Fuck this shit man! You and her are on some bullshit! Bullshit ass bitches" he yelled in my face.

"Ayo son watch ya mouth! You not gonna disrespect my sister." Roc said walking up to Amir.

"Yeah man that's uncalled for. Chill with all that. Calm down bro" Dré said trying to keep the peace.

"Are y'all fucking serious right now? She left all of us for what? She left the people who loved her the most! People who were ready to die and kill for her ass! This is how she thanked us? By leaving and now she decides she wants to come back? Hell nah, fuck that."

"Amir it wasn't necessarily like that I promise you it wasn't!" I pleaded.

"Yeah right. I bet all this time you kept in contact with her. Matter of fact that's the reason why you never cried about her being gone everyone was tryna cope with this shit except you!" He yelled an octave louder. It kinda scared me a little. I was just doing what Lani asked.

"Amir calm down" Summer said walking up to him grabbing his arm only for him to yell at her.

"Summer do not touch me! Ain't no calming down right now! I'm done with this shit. All that shit you said months ago talking about Amir don't say that. Lani would want you to know that she loves you and misses you. She probably felt like she needed time or something. She's already been through a lot and all she knows is how to care for herself. That's probably why she left. Don't hate her for it. You only said that because y'all talked so fuck both of y'all I'm out." And with that he stormed out of Dré and I's backyard and drove off in his car.

Jalani POV

I just arrived in California about 3 hours ago. Today should be an interesting day. I called Cassie to let her know that I'm here and ready to face everyone when I just got in my hotel and that was 2 hours ago. Honestly, I'm happy to be back and see my family! I'm 5 months pregnant with a baby boy, so Cassie was right. My little boy is the happiest part of my life and I'm happy to have him.

I had my outfit set out on the sofa and I had just finished my hair. Cassie texted me the address to her house earlier so hopefully I'll be there in about 30 minutes. Being cute and pregnant can sometimes be difficult because I have to adjust to the different changes in my body. It seems like I get bigger and bigger every two weeks so of course I shop a lot.

I put on my black summer dress and my black and gold sandals. I placed some nude lip gloss on my lips, grabbed my Forever 21 shades and clutch and headed out the door.

The ride to Cassie and Dre's was about two hours away. I was got in my car and I was about 30 minutes away when I saw s familiar car speed pass me. I instantly thought about Amir. I'm ready to talk to him and confess everything.

When I finally arrived at my two best friend's house I was greeted by Bianca and other people from high school. They all looked surprised to see me pregnant and all. I know most people would feel uncomfortable, but I'm proud to be a mommy to be. I walked to the backyard where the party was and was reunited with my family.
