Cassie POV

Today is the day for Dré and I to leave for Cali. I'm so excited to see my girl Jalani. It's been lonely without her, I mean we text and face time or whatever, but it's still not the same. Dré and I have gotten closer and I watched him graduate with his mom right beside me. I'm so proud of him.

"Are you ready Dré? " I asked him while walking into his room. There were clothes everywhere, just a mess.

"Maybe" he says while playing music. Trey Songz's song Touchin, Lovin comes on and Dré starts singing.

"Nigga I didn't know you could sing!" I say looking at him surprised.

"Aye what I told you about using that word you know that term shouldn't be used by girls. And yes nigga I can sing." he says smirking at me while putting a few shirts in his suitcase.

"Well this girl can say whatever the hell she feels like so if you don't like it then turn the music up nigga." I say while throwing a pillow at him. He gets up and runs over to me and pins me on the wall.

"You just won't ever learn will you baby?" He says holding my waist and kissing my neck. This boy gives me the chills...

"I'm sorry baby" I say as I kiss his lips only to be interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Okay love birds y'all gotta get to the airport on time so you won't miss your flight. Dré's mom says. She's so nice and sweet. I think of her as my mom sense my mom left me back in 2003 now all I have is my papa and little brothers.

"Alright ma" he says while we're on our way out the door. We got to the airport within 25 minutes! California here we come!

6 Hours later...

The plane ride was fine, Dré kept asking for salted peanuts and water. I think he was pissing the flight attendant off, but 0 fucks were given. Anyways we arrived at Jalani's house 45 minutes later and I must say this house is amazing. Dré and I walked up to the door and I got cold feet.

"Aren't you gonna knock?" Dré asks looking down at me.

"You do it." I say nervously making him make a face at me.

"Nigga you've been beasting for this moment for the longest you better knock." He says making me upset.

"First of all don't make that ugly face at me and second I'm bae, baby, or Cassie don't forget that shit. Alright mo." I say with my arms folded and my accent coming out heavy.

"Damn baby that was sexy." He says pulling me to him and kissing my cheek.

Jalani POV

I thought I heard Cassie's and Dre's voices outside my door, but maybe I was just paranoid. I walked back to the steps only to hear a girl going off at someone. I walked back to the door and look through the peep whole and when I saw my two best friends I was so excited.

"Damn baby that was sexy" Dré said while holding Cassie and kissing her cheek! I know they were surprise to see me so soon because the looks on their faces was priceless!

"Oh! So when did this happen!" I said leaning on the door excited with my arms folded.

"Lani I've missed you so much! Cassie says running up hugging me!

"I missed you too Cassie!" I say hugging her tighter!

"Girl!! I missed you too!" Dré says hugging us both and wiping away fake tears. He's so silly! We pulled away and walked inside.

"So when did this happen?" I say to them while walking upstairs to show them their rooms.

"About a week ago" Dré says doing the Shmoney dance! Cassie and I just start cracking up. He eventually stops and gets serious. "Nah, but on a serious note Cassie and I have been dating sense April." He says while looking at Cassie who was blushing so hard.
