"The worst thing happened to me today, Rogina!" I told my friend Rogina (my nickname for her) and all my other friends what happened today in the restaurant.
"What happened?" they all chorused.
"I'm transferring schools," I said almost bawling my eyes out.
"At least you are not living Louisiana!" Dan Dan said trying to enlighten the mood.
"No I'm not living in Louisiana.. But I'm leaving the continent!" I exclaimed as they tried to comfort me.
"So then where are you going?" Natali asked me.
"Ireland," I said flatly.
"I know you are going to Ireland, but which of the many places in Ireland?" Rogina asked me. I gave her a 'are you serious' look.
"Mullingar, to be exact," I cried out.
"Oh! Now I'm going to have a Irish BFFL!" Rogina said trying to make everyone laugh. She always does, but today was just one of those days that nothing had a funny side to it.
"Okay.. So who are you living with?" Natali asked with curiosity shinning across her face.
"My moms friend," I said, annoyed. "She has an adorable son, my age. His name is Niall."
"But what about Nathan?" Dan Dan asked, wondering how my boyfriend will take this news.
"I think I'm going to break up with him. He never even liked me! He just used me for the attention," I said picturing Nathan in my mind.
"And what are we going to say about all rumours?" Rogina asked. "What rumours?"
"Somebody is going to end up thinking you drove your car into a pit and died. Or... That you got murdered.." Rogina babbled.
"Stop! Stop! Stop! We are thinking the worst!" I insisted.
-3 hours pass-
"Bye! We are going to miss you! We will never ever forget you, Nicole! You will always have a place in my heart! We'll keep in touch! You better not forget you amazingly, cute British best friend," Dan Dan said trying to not get teary. In the other hand I was bawling my eyes out.
"Nicole, we have known each other since the begging of middle school! I can't believe we got this close. I can't believe I'm saying goodbye. But it's goodbye for now! You better promise to call me every day and night! And Skype as well! I'm dearly going to miss you!" Natali cried out.
"Promise," I said bawling my eyes out.
"OMGIES! I don't now where to begin! We have literally lived together all our life's and now I have to say goodbye! We have known each other since diapers! We have been through good and bad. I can't remember a memory I had and you not being there. I can't just say goodbye! We have had just times where we could sit and cry or laugh and run. Like seriously I can't imagine my life with out you. You complete the other heart to every necklace I have! You are my other half! With out you I'm not me and you without me it's not you! I can't say goodbye because I know that this is not goodbye! You better have your phone on and at reach all the time!" Rogina practically bawled out. I can't imagine my life with out her! We where in a huge hug! Nothing could break up apart, but then my mom had to come and get me. I gave all my friends a hug, but saved the biggest hug for Rogina.
"My name will always be Rogina, always and forever! When I'm older I'm going to write a book of how I got my name, Rogina!" She practically flew across the restaurant for another hug!
Then my phone buzzed, and I saw I had a text message from Rogina.
P.S. I'm asking if I could go for a life long trip to Mullingar! xRogina
