D6a50 was already out into the den area of the home. He was sitting in his chair alongside the window and near the furnace, an empty chair next to his, it was cleanest thing in the entire home without a speck of dust on it. Ar10L and D6a50 used to sit in those chairs and eat breakfast every morning before Re3x0 was hatched and before D6a50 went away for seven seasons. He refused to allow anyone else sit in her chair, and not allowing it to go uncleaned while he was around.

Re3x0 came out of his room, now dressed and looking decent. He looked around for where his father was waiting. D6a50 was looking at the chair his beloved mate used to sit in, before getting snapped out of his reminiscing daze at the sound of his son's footsteps.

"You alright?" Re3x0 asked out of habit, when he saw this expression on Rw63y he would ask her questions until she told him what was going on.

"Ofcourse I am, let's get a move on shall we?" D6a50 said before getting up from his seat, his eyes slightly glossy but he quickly faked a yawn and rubbed his eyes to cover up.

The two dark pelted Zusi walk towards the exit of the house, the landscape outside was covered in snow, and already it was getting very warm. The snow was quickly beginning to melt and it was only dawn.

"Come on now", D6a50 encouraged seeing that Re3x0 was amazing at seeing the suddenly change of the land overnight. "If we don't get there early we will have to wait in line for a long time." He said not very convincingly.

Re3x0 now following his father. Being almost the same size, except he was a little shorter than him and not as well built. Looking at his father's face, he could tell he was thinking about something.

"Dad? Do you ever think about mum?" Re3x0 blurted out, seeing that his question could have been a bit rude. "I. I know you do but.. Was that it earlier?" He quickly tried to fix the wording of his question. Around The Rejects he had a sense of confidence, around Rw63y, and even around E4r1c he could say what he pleased without any difficulties. Why couldn't he here?

D6a50 just sighed and kept on walking, as if he never heard the question.

His ears drooping slightly, Re3x0 figured it wasn't a good idea to ask that sort of question.

"I was about your age when I first met Ar10L.." D6a50 began but started to trail off.

Re3x0 perked his ears up and started listening to what his father had to say.

"When I became a warrior there were many females who tried getting my attention. Though I wasn't interested in anyone, I was determined on training." He started to explain, "I remember her still being my best friend, we would always talk when I wasn't training. Then one day I got pulled into a really dangerous mission, I wasn't sure what was going to happen."

"I was made a Warrior because I was believed to be the reincarnation of Proxo. The God of Strength in the old Lore of our Planet. They sent me first into the battle, all four Tribes were at war and we had no allies. I knew I would have lost my life in that battle." D6a50 seemed to have a small smile on his expression.

"Suddenly, a civilian broke through the gates and got into the war themself. They saved my life and the life of many others by telling us of their location. That Zusi was your mother. She risked her life to let us know the information that saved my life, the Capital gave her a very honorable announcement. I know I shouldn't have but during her ceremony I got up and in front of everyone. I asked her to be my mate." Green eyes started to cloud up with tears, and he used a paw to quickly wipe them from his sight.

"When did you find out she was sick?" Re3x0 asked in a whisper of a voice, like a young kit who had just been scolded. He felt his heart ache as he couldn't imagine the pain of losing not only your mate but your best friend all at once.
