Relationships

She had brown eyes and short black hair and was wearing glasses. She was probably in her mid-twenty.
She  smiled at me as she got up from her desk.
"You must be Mr Knight. "
"Yes ma."
"Good, I'm your homeroom teacher, Mrs Baxter and also your Geography teacher. "
"Now take a seat as we begin today's lesson. "
I took an empty seat in the second row next to a guy.
"Now bring out your textbook and open to page 150."

"Hey."
I heard someone said as I closed my locker. I turned and see a guy with auburn hair and black eyes. He was the guy who sat next to me in class.
"Hi."
"I'm Jack Miller."
"I'm in the same me class with you. "
"Yeah, I know. "
"Wanna hang out sometime? "
"Sure why not ."
"How about I give you a tour of the school ."
"That be great."
"Speaking of friends, here they come."
I looked towards his direction and saw two guys and a girl coming towards us.
"Jack,we been looking for you, where did you go to?"
The girl said with her arms crossed.
"Yeah dude, did you just forget us. "
His other friend said playfully punching his shoulder.
"Sorry guys but you can't be mad with me forever ."
"Maybe. "
"So whose your  new friend? "
"This is Michael Knight, he's new and is in the same year with us . "
"Hi Michael. "
The girl said to me smiling.
"You can call me Mike. "
"Ok"
"So Jack aren't you going to introduce us or are we gonna stand there all day."
"Oh yeah, Mike that's Amelia Grey. "
He said pointing to the girl who still had that smile on her face .
"This is Terrence McCoy ."
Terrence nodded at me and I nodded back.
"And last but the least, Henry Jones ."
"Hey man ."
Henry said as he shook my hand.
"So what are you guys doing now? "
"I am about to give Mike a tour."
"Oh can we come along?"
Amelia said with a puppy dog face. It was kinda of childish but cute.
"Sure, why not, as they always say the more the merrier. "
We climbed up the stairs and move a little bit forward and stopped by a room to our right. It was big and was painted in cream.
"This is the gym room, mainly for wrestling though it ought to be for basketball but it isn't that popular here. "
Jack said as we moved on, I could hear someone singing as we came to the next room, a few doors away from the gym. It wasn't as big as the gym.
"This is the music room and it's my favorite from all the rest. "
Amelia said as we kept on looking at the girl who was singing "say something ". It was a song by pentatonix.
We went down the stairs and came across another room .
"Teachers lounge ."
Terrence said as we passed it. Next to that room, was another one which was similar  but was bigger than the former, we saw a teacher dragging a student into the room.
"Oh boy ,I wonder what Louis did this time, probably in big trouble cause Mr Roberts doesn't look happy at all. "
Henry said as we looked on.
"Oh,  that's the principal office. "
Amelia said as she noticed the confused look on my face.
"There's no need to worry about him, this isn't the first time he gotten into trouble. "
The bell rang as we were about to continue our tour.
"Oh man, I wanted to show you the skating rink. "
Terrence said in an annoyed tone.
"There's a skating rink. "
I said in disbelief.
"Yup, you won't believe it but the school constructed one last year just to get more students."
Jack said smiling watching the disbelief on my face.
"Anyways it's only opened during break and a few hours after school ."
"Well, there's no way we are going there, now that break is over. "
Henry said as he looked around seeing students going back to class.
"Hey, what about after school you be free then right. "
Jack said as we moved to our next class.
"Sorry guys , I won't be available, I got things to do at home. "
"Oh well, another time. "
"Yeah, another time. "
"It was nice meeting you Mike "
Amelia said as I got to my class.
"Yeah, me too. "
I entered into my class and took a seat. A man with short black hair and blue eyes entered into the class,  he was lanky but not that skinny.
"Good afternoon  class . "
"Good afternoon Mr Ray ."
The whole class replied.
"I hope you all enjoyed your summer. "
They were sighs and groans as he said this.
"Sorry, for the early school resumption but as they say the early bird gets the worm. "
He said smiling but this only earned him more groans and sighs.
"Silence everyone,  now let's do a revision on what we did last semester."

I came down from the bus and took a turn by the left, walked pass a few blocks and got to my house. I opened the door, locked it and quickly dropped my bag on the couch, and went to my room, took a shower and laid on my bed. I looked at the clock and saw it was 4:00pm.
I decided to eat the leftovers that was in the fridge from this morning and to watch a movie. I wasn't given that much assignments today and my parents were coming  back late. I was watching the movie until I dozed off by 6:30pm. I woke up when I heard the door opened and saw it was my parents.
"Hey, kiddo. "
"Hi Dad."
I said as I got off the couch.
"Hey honey, how was your day? "
My Mom said as she hugged me.
"Fine. "
"Made any new friends? "
"Yeah, four."
"That's nice."
"They are really great and school wasn't bad too."
"I'm glad you like it sweetie. "
"Sorry we had to move and I know you are still getting used to it but I'm glad you are happy. "
Yeah me too,I thought as I remember everything that happened today. I guess I wouldn't fit in but after meeting those four,everything just became different and I'm glad I did.
