part 18 - control

*third person POV*

Early in the morning Pythor went to Skales to explain y/n's abilities. He thought that it was time for the Serpentine generals to know. After Pythor told them about y/n's abilities, Skales went to the ninja and morro to ask for help.

They were all in the middle of the arena while y/n was elsewhere 'still in bed' (me😂).

Skales approached morro and the ninja.

"Hey Skales! What's up" Jay said in his normal friendly voice.

"Ever herd of manners blue ninja" Skales said sarcastically.

"Hey!" Jay yelled and morro and the rest of the ninja laughed.

"Anyway... I need you to help y/n" Skales said bluntly.

The ninja looked at him confused "what is there something wrong with her?" Lloyd asked.

Skales shook his head "no, she has magical abilities that I want you all to guide her through. Morro I believe already knows" He said gesturing to morro.

"Y-yes sir" morro stuttered straightening his posture.

"Hehe look at Mr manners over here" jay joked.

"Shut it jay!" Morro yelled. Jay started to giggle under his breath.

*y/n POV*

I woke up seeing a bright light shine through my window. I fell out of bed with a thud.

"Oof" I picked myself off the floor and got changed.

I made my way to the slither pit to see my pap, Skales, morro and the rest of the ninja in the middle. 'I wonder what their all doing together?' I thought.

"Ahh y/n, we were just talking about you" Skales said now facing me.

I tilted my head in confusion, and herd a small chuckle from morro.

"What about me?" I asked.

Pythor spoke up "y/n, the ninja and morro are going to help you use your ability.... starting today"

My face brightened up with a smile and we all got ready for my special training.

This is how it was going to work, I would go through a series of different tasks with the ninja including morro. Although I was still not clear on how to use my powers since I have never used them before.

"So y/n, what kind of power do you have?" Kai asked.

"Well.... I'm not really sure. All I know is that I can summon the snake spirit, who happens to be related to me? I don't know if I can do anything else" I responded.

"Then let's find out!" Cole said cheerfully.

"Ok y/n, try closing your eyes and focus on your necklace" Zane said.

I closed my eyes and started to focus, having the image of my necklace in my head. I felt something. I wasn't quite sure what it was but it felt so familiar. I opened my eyes slowly to see my body glowing f/c.

I gasped looking at my glowing hands. I saw my necklace glowing green, it was glowing brighter than me.

"Wh-what's happening?!" I said panicking a bit.
