part 11 - suspicion and worry

*sorry it took longer than usual but I really couldn't think of what to write but I managed. Thanx for all the reads! And hope you enjoy!*

*third person POV*

*next day*

The ninja grew more suspicious of you and morro so they decided to watch both of you more.

You didn't notice them looking and carried on talking to morro as he was doing community service.

"They look as if their good friends" kai said

All the other ninja gave you a look as if to say that it was a bad idea that you two should not even be talking to each other.

"We'll just keep an eye on them for now" Cole said

"But morro could be dangerous!" Lloyd said In a worried tone.

"Look she'll be fine. When she comes over we'll just ask her casual questions about it. Ok" jay said and the other ninja agreed.

"Ok" they all said in union.

The ninja waited patiently until you decided to go talk to them, which you did.

"Hey guys" you said in a cheerful tone "how's guarding going?"

The guys hesitated at first but then came back to their senses, remembering that they needed to ask you some questions.

"Oh hey. Yeh we're doing fine" kai said scratching the back of his head.

It was quiet for a a moment until lloyd broke the silence.

"So... you handling morro ok still?" He asked trying not to sound too suspicious.

The others were staring egaly awaiting your answer.

"Yeh don't worry I can handle him" you said with a smile

"You sure? He's a nasty piece of work you know" jay said crossing his arms. Everyone else nodded.

"Yeh he's the worst of the worst. I don't think you should be having conversations with that guy." Kai said

You felt a little upset to here that. Hearing that your boyfriend was a bad guy and people telling you to stay away from him. You almost started to cry but you couldn't otherwise they would know, so you tried to shrug it off.

"Nah he fine" you said

The ninja started to push the questions a little.

"So... have the two of you met before? Because it looks as if you know each other" Cole asked

"Oh... no I've never met him before" you said

"Really... because you two look like good friends" jay said.

You knew then that they have been watching you and morro, And began to think that they were picking up on your secret.

You looked towards morro's direction. He was just doing his normal chorus. You turned back and shook your head.

"I'm just telling him what to do" you say trying to think of some excuse.

All the ninja looked at each other knowing you were hiding something. But they shrugged it off and went to put the prisoners back in their cells.

*y/n POV*

I knew I had to be careful in order to keep me and morro's secret safe.

I told morro about it while putting him in his cell. He understood and the both of us started to become more careful of how we acted towards each other. It was difficult but we managed.

As the day went on I started to worry a lot more.

'What if they find out? What if I'll never be able to be with morro? What if... what if...' I did a loud sigh while preparing for training.

I took a glance at morro and he gave me a soft smile making sure the ninja weren't looking of course. It calmed me down a little but then started to get worried again when I saw the ninja coming to watch me train.

'Great' I thought sarcastically.

*third person POV*

You couldn't train properly. You were loosing focus.

You ended up getting way more worried about the situation.

'I don't know if I can take this anymore' you thought breathing heavily.

The next thing you were supposed to do was dodge arrows and ninja stars. Morro noticed that you were in panic and tried to mouth to you to stay calm without getting spotted.

You tried clearing your mind as it began. Ninja stars and arrows were coming at you from every direction.

Clearing your mind wasn't helping. You couldn't focus on dodging properly. Breathing was getting heavy and small droplets of sweat roled down your face.

Morro noticed but he couldn't do anything and he started to get fustrated. But then his eyes widened.

...

You ended up getting badly hurt because you worried to much.

An arrow impaled your right arm and two ninja stars made huge wounds, one on your left leg and the side of your hip.

You screamed in pain as you held your right arm and fell to the floor while blood seeped from your wounds.

You took one last glance at morro's suprised and worried face... before blacking out.
