part 28 - another chance

*y/n POV*

Suddenly my father spoke with his deep voice, "another chance to be human."

I gasped as my eyes widened. Suddenly the ground began to rumble slightly. I looked to the wet sand in front of me which slowly started to form the shape of a male figure laying on the floor, which soon turned into morro.

"Take care my sweet y/n" My parents said in unison.

"Love each other with all your heart" my mum said happily as they both started to disappear.

Time restarted and the sand storm lifted revealing the sun. The weather was now calm and the sand catched the sun making the whole place look like it was glowing. Everything turned back to normal and my surroundings were no longer blurred, looking around I saw the all the ghosts ether being held down by one of ours or tied up in vahlok's grasp, which I smiled in amusment to.

They struggled in his grasp, some shouting 'let me go', some just giving out evil glares and some just doing nothing and giving up.

My focus was then drawn to morro. I herd a grunt and saw him position him self so that he was sitting up on the floor. In pure happiness I hugged him straight away and without warning. My head lay in the crook of his neck as my arms wrapped around him tightly and my scaled tail wrapped around him protectively. Tears threatened to spill. I was so glad he was back.

But I don't think morro registered what was happening.

*morro POV*

"W-what?" I questioned. I didn't understand what was happening.

I felt someone hugging me. Looking down I saw y/n holding me close.

"Thank you mother, father" she said to herself, her voice muffled in my clothes.

I then started to take in what was happening. Me and y/n were sitting on the floor. The sun shone brightly and all the ghosts had been captured by a big glowing snake who seemed rather diligent and also seemed to think the ghosts were like plush toys. 'Ok well you don't see that everyday'.

I looked back to y/n who showed no signs of letting go.

"Y-y/n?" I asked curiously.

Her grip on me became tighter and I started to feel something wet on my sholder. I began the realise that she was crying and in response I hugged back.

It then came to my realisation that my body felt weird. Remembering the events that happened a small while back came back to me in a flash. There was Soul Archer, water and then nothing. 'Wait.... I should have disappeared' I thought.

I felt y/n finally loosen and let go of the hug. She was knelt down beside me. I looked at her beautiful smiling face which seemed to of cried tears of happiness and lit up against the sun.

"What... happened?" I asked.

"my mother and father saved you!" she said happily.

"how?" I asked.

I started to look at my hands. They weren't see through. My face grew with confusion as I looked back to y/n. Seeing my confused state y/n stood up and gave me her hand to help me up as well. it was then that I took in her appearance. her f/c scales shimmered against the sun, and although it was qutie an odd feature, it looked particularly beautiful on her. I felt something loosen around my waist. a long f/c scaled tale unwrapped its self from me. 'Must be one of her animalistic transformations' I thought. I would probably ask more about it later.

"You were give another chance" she said staring into my eyes.

"Another chance for what?" I asked.

"to be human" she smiled.

'Human!? to be human?..... wait I'm a human?!' I thought. I stared at my hands once more.

"I'm a.... human?" I asked hardly believing it.

"Yes!" y/n said excitedly.

I felt a sudden overwhelming and hugged her spinner her around as we both laughed. I stopped spinning her to set her back down on the floor and hug her tightly.

I sighed happily, "I love you".

She responded quickly "I love you too".

*y/n POV*

we let go of each other at the sound of someone shouting my name. Looking towards the crowed I saw my dear papa slithering towards us at a fast pace.

"y/n!!" he shouted.

suddenly he leaped at me and embraced me in a warming hug.

"I so glad your ok!" I smiled at his frazzled and comforting state. He immediately pulled me out of the hug and looked at me sternly, "don't you ever do that again!" he said, and then bringing me straight back into the hug.

finally letting go Vahlok, along with a few other serpentine chained the ghosts so that they would not escape.

"I will call Kryparium prison to pick them up, I'm sure they'll "welcome" them with open arms" Pythor ginned.

looking around others had come around you each of them celebrating, laughing and talking. Morro and the ninja were talking, and others talked within other groups. approaching Skales I prepared myself for what could be a some what negative conversation.

"skales...." he turned to face me, I took a deep breath "can morro-"

"stay with you? yes" He said before I could finish.

"u-um, what?" I asked.

"you were gonna ask if you and Morro can stay together, my response is yes" he said making it seem as if the conisations was obvious.

"Wait, really?" I asked seemingly puzzles. 

Skales nods and smiles at me. A big grin grew on my face as I quickly hugged him and yelled a "thank you" as I ran back to morro's side.

as I approched Morro he looked a bit nervous.

"Morro? You ok?" I asked concerned and put my hand on his sholder.

"Umm...yeah..err" He stuttered. 

Everyone around us moved away a bit making room for us. I grew confused.

"Morro?"

*Morro POV*

"Morro?" She said.

I looked at her nervously remembering the conversation I just had with the ninja. 'Here goes nothing'. I grabed y/n's hand startling a bit. Everyone went quite. I took a deep breath.

"Y/n, I know this is sudden but... but I don't want to ever lose you..." I paused, "will you marry me?" 

She grinned wildly, "YES!!"

She leaped into my arms kissing me roughly and everyone else cheered around us.

*so I hope you've all enjoyed this so far, I've had so much fun writing this and I love the support. The next part will be the END of the whole story, when it may be up i don't know, It will probably have to be after exams. So sorry in advance for the long wait. Thank you all much*
