Sorry for the late update guys

  I was awoken by the sunlight filtering in to my small apartment. I soon got up, slightly disturbed by the intense popping of my joints. I began to shuffle through my morning routine halfheartedly. Soon enough, I was heading to the normal meeting spot of team 7. I was too tired to plaster a smile on my face. Which of course earned me weird looks.

We earned our first C-rank mission after seemingly hundreds of d-rank ones. An anbu went to escort the client in. The moment the old man stepped in the door, I sense were filled with the overwhelming smell of alcohol. I subconsciously drifted closer to Sasuke. After being introduced to the now named Tazuna, we were told to pack for a couple weeks and meet by the gate in two hours.

  I sealed everything I needed into some scrolls and put those in a small bag. With packing out of the way, I headed to Ichiraku's. I told them about the mission and of course they fussed about it being dangerous. After paying for my meal I headed towards the village gates. To avoid.. delays, I went across the rooftops.
I was the last one to arrive, purposely of course. I was not going to be alone with an intoxicated man. Kakashi arrived on the two hour deadline.  Without delay, we set off towards the land of waves.
As we traveled, I noticed two seemingly inconspicuous puddles.  I quickly found chakra signatures coming from them. It hadn't rained in at least a week.  Soon enough, chains came out and wrapped themselves around Kakashi. It appeared that they cut him into tiny pieces. But even an academy student would realize the replacement jutsu. The two puddles revealed themselves as none other that the demon brothers.
I quickly got in battle stance, beginning to formulate a plan. I saw Hinata guarding Tazuna and sasuke next to me in a clan taijutsu stance. The Brothers attacked first, attempting to wrap their poisoned chains around me. I quickly dodged, silently cursing myself as the end of it nipped my hand. I threw three kunai, attaching the chains to a tree. I then through two shuriken, which landed between the eyes of the siblings, killing them instantly.
"They worked for gato. The man currently destroying the land of waves with his business. Tazuna is one of the builders of the bridge that will save the village from the poverty Gato sent them into," I recited. Kurama is very helpful, as she gave me this information. With the knowledge of the now A-rank mission, we continued onward. The further we went, the foggier it seemed to get. After crossing an expanse of water, we arrived on the main island. However, we still had a ways to go.
"Duck!"
