Ginny was frozen still on her knees while she tried to hold in her emotions until finally, she broke. Ginny let out another chilling, terrifying, and nerve wrecking scream, but this one was worse than the last. The worst anyone had ever heard.
Everyone stopped and looked at her.
"Ginny!" Ron shouted as he ran over to his sister. She didn't look good. Ron couldn't handle seeing her like this.
Ginny finally built the strength to run to Harry.
Once she reached him her legs gave out again and she fell to her knees next to his body. Her hands were shaking as she reached for his face.
Ginny rested her forehead against his. She hugged him tightly, hoping he would wake up.
"Harry." She whispered. Ginny's voice was so heartbreaking. She loved him, and she never stopped loving him.
Sirius looked at her. He felt his heart break into several pieces as he watched the scene in front of him.
Sirius never knew. He looked over at Hermione for confirmation. She noticed Sirius' glance and she nodded sadly.
Sirius heart felt like it stopped. He looked back at Ginny. Her hands still tenderly held against Harry's pale face. Her forehead still gently resting on his. She was shaking. She looked as if her world was crashing down onto her.
"Please-" Ginny cried. She brushed Harry's hair away from his blank face. Tears continued to fall down her face.
Molly and Arthur Weasley watched in horror. They looked over at Ron. He nodded.
It was in that very moment they had realized the relationship between Ginny and Harry, and it was gone before they could've seen it. Their daughter was forced to endure a type of heartbreak that nobody should have to go through.
Hermione held her hands over her mouth she watched. She remembered all the nights Harry would stare at Ginny's name on the Marauder's Map while they were hunting Horcruxes. They really did love each other. The two only broke up so Ginny would be safe, but it never should have ended this way.
Ron made his way back over to Hermione and he looked at his little sister.
"They really did love each other." Hermione whispered to Ron.
Ron's heart sank to see his sister so heartbroken. He wanted to comfort her, but he didn't dare to interrupt her. It was not the time. All he could do was stand there painfully watch the scene play out before him. He didn't want to. Not only was he watching his heartbroken little sister, but the lifeless body of his best friend in her arms.
Suddenly he had an idea.
Ron whispered to Hermione. "What were the Deathly Hallows again?"
Hermione gasped. She couldn't believe what she heard. Ron had just asked the most unimportant question at the most inappropriate time. She grew red in the face.
"Now is not the time, Ronald! I can't believe you would show such disrespect! Besides, how could you forget?" She whispered back.
"Just tell me." Ron said sternly. Hermione groaned. Her eyes were puffy. She had just seen her best friend's lifeless body in front of her.
She growled before responding, "The wand, the cloak and..." Hermione paused, "-and the stone. Ron! You're a genius!" She said happily.
Ron was shocked at the words Hermione spoke.
"Ginny." Ron said. As he looked at Harry and he began to cry again. There was no way to undo what happened.
"What?" Ginny said as she turned sharply to him. Her eyes were red and her face was extremely beat up from the battle.
"We know away to talk to Harry."
