That night was pretty wreckless for me. Little disturbing thoughts here and there, that tempted me to go find something to do. Most of that night, I just layed there staring at a beetle crawling around a curled root, fixed beneath a clusterfuck of vines. Arnica's grunts frustrated my audics. I rolled my structure over to the edge of the bed, my pillars slipping off of the edge. I huffed, feeling the sun's rays creep through the cracks of the walls. I prefered the dark over light. It's just in my nature. I dragged the tips of my jagged claws along the wooden floor. It vibrated up my muscles.

Sleeping wasn't always good for me. Many nights at a time, I would get night terrors. But some nights were fine. I slid my eyelids closed over my tired eyes, pressing my tongue against my teeth.

I slept alright for awhile. But eventually I woke up to the sound of tinging jar bottles. "Arnica, stop touching my stuff." She flinched, her attention growing itself against me. Her voice rattled as she yelped. "I'm sorry. I was just curious. Are you some type of healer?" That question pressed a grin apon my face. "No, kid. I'm surely not a healer. I'm quite the opposite." My audics twitched. "Some of those jars are for the scent of it. It masks the odour." She agreed with a cough, plopping herself down onto the blankets she slept apon.

I studied her for a moment. Bits and pieces of black fur laced her perfect looking pelt. A white strip ran down the centre of her muzzle and underneath her visuals. My focus on her faded, a smoke of dust from the trees outside brushing itself against my cheek. I sneezed. "Bless you." I scoffed. "I'm fine. And by the way.." I stretched out my structure, feeling the bones in my back crack as I flexed my toes. "It's Karma." She frowned. "Karma? I have none." My visuals rolled, as I grunted out my words. "No, you idiot. My name is Karma." "Oh my bad." What a dumbass, was my first thing I thought of then.

After we left my house, we travelled a short distance to a sort of sanctuary. when I first found this forest, the sanctuary was the place I would go to regularly. I glanced toward Arnica, raising an eyebrow at her expression "What's biting you?" A flick seemed to have widen her from a trance in her own thoughts, "Sorry. uh, I'm just missing someone I knew that passed away." One thing I was terrible with was comforting others and I wasnt about to practice. "That's too bad ," I stepped infront of her, my my fluffed banner slithering against a healthy green bush behind me. I moved its leaves. uncovering a large ditch, roots and other plants coating the top making it as a tunnel that slopped down. "Down you go."

I shoved her rump, listening to her paws slip against the leaves as she slipped down it. Her yelps echoed. I followed her down head first fluttering my eyes as patterns of lights shone into them. A few seconds and i slipped out into the light. In front of me was a shimmering, crystal blue pool of water. A waterfall sprinkled silver sprays of water into its base, ferns and bushes as green and healthy as it could get. Rocks bedded in moss lay perfectly along the base of the walls above. the grass perfectly cut, tickled at my pawpads sweetly.

"This place is beautiful." Arnica spat out her words. rushing over to glance at her reflection. "It is. I come here to relax. I thought we could come here to talk." I approached her, a growl erupting from my trauche. "What are you really doing here?"
