Chapter 3: Understandment

I kept running, letting the tears stream down my face.  The wind felt good against my skin as I ran through the park and in to the trees to the clearing of my oasis.  I ran to the back towards my favorite spot of my oasis.  It was partly hidden by trees next to a small stone fountain of a lion.  I loved that fountain because at the bottom was a secret compartment that only my brother, Bryon and I know about.  In it are all sorts of things but mostly there are only notes.  There is one note for each time I come to my oasis.  Each note is about why I went there and a list of all the emotions that I feel jumbled all inside of me.  I put the notes into the compartment and wish the bad times and the bottled up emotions away.

When I reached the spot I let myself drop to the ground and pulled my knees to my chest.  I put my head on my knees and cried.  About five minutes later I heard Bryon walk next to me.  He sat next to me and rubbed my back gently hushing me in a relaxing and tender tone.  “Go away!” I told him but he just pulled me into his lap and kissed the top of my head as I bawled my eyes out in his arms.  He waited for me to stop crying and to calm down.  It took about 15 minutes before the tears stopped and another 5 minutes for me to be back to my almost normal self.  I lifted my head and gazed at Bryon.  “Thank You,” I said to him.  I stood up and stretched.  I looked at the sky.  The sun was setting and the clouds seemed to thinning out against the orange and pink sky.

Bryon stood up next to me “Well, Do you want to talk about it?” he asked me quietly.  “I will when I’m ready,” I replied.  “What about that ribbon on your wrist?” he pressed.  “Later,” I replied simply.  I walked to the side of my oasis and past the trees to where the river was.  It was lined with trees and no one lived near it so no one would see us.  Bryon followed me.  “What are you doing?” he asked.  “You will see,” I said.  I stared at the water it looked so calm and peaceful and so inviting.  I stepped towards the edge and jumped in.  It was a deep river just the tips of my toes could touch the bottom.  I was peaceful under the water, but then I remembered Bryon so I surfaced so my head was above the water.  I took my pony tail out and threw the hair tie on the land.  “So are you coming in?” I asked.  “What are you doing?” he asked back.   “I am having fun,” I said in a matter of factly tone.  “Now come in the water and join me,” He followed my instructions by jumping in.  I then took my clothes off and threw them ashore.  Bryon looked at me with a puzzled expression.  “Why don’t you take your clothes off too?” I asked.  He did as I said quite not understanding why.  I waded myself up to him closing the distance between us so there were only a couple inches between us.  I placed my hands on his chest feeling him against my skin.  He caught on to what I was doing fast and he grabbed my hands and stopped me.

“Wait, Jasmine after what your parents said this is the last thing that we should be doing.  If you are a good girl then you will not do this at all,” he said.  I answered him as soon as he stopped talking.

“Well Bryon, you know that I’m not a good girl.  I’m a problem child and what I want right now is you.  I want to be dirty and have you against me….inside me…..like no tomorrow….well maybe not that far but I do want to do it a little with you here.  I love you.”

“Such a naughty girl,” he teased.

I started playfully nibbling on his shoulder and then kissed my way up him to his lips.  We continued our naughtiness until it started to get darker and the sunset was almost over.
