Ah...I finally arrived. So peaceful, so quiet. Good thing I arrived at night
I got off the boat and saw a man with a mustache, he had a red suit and a red top hat. He seemed to be in a cheerful mood. I wonder what's wrong with him.
"Hello, you must be clarry"
"No"
"Cassy?"
"No"
"Clarita?"
"Claire" I said politely even though im a bit annoyed by him, he didn't even checked my name before I arrived hmpf
"My name is Thomas, im the mayor around here. I would like it if you called me by Mayor Thomas. Not by my first name."
???what is wrong with him????
"Okay" I said trying to act polite
"Well anyway, let me show you your house."
It took us like 5 minutes just to walk there. But it felt like years. He is very short for a mayor. We then arrived to a small pink house. The field was filled with ugly looking weeds and rocks. When I noticed it the mayor started laughing.
"What is wrong with you?" I said not trying to show my dragon fumes
"Nice try trying to revive the farm, your grandfather lost his sight two weeks before he died. So the crops withered and weeds started forming HAHAHAH"
Yep i had enough of him so I took out my sickle and slapped him across the face with it. Ha! He left crying. That dumbass mayor thinks he's all that. I barley touched him.
So I went inside my house and saw that I had almost all the furniture I needed. There was a bookshelf filled with books and albums. I wondered what they were about. I went into the kitchen and see what there was. But all I saw was spoiled gross food. Poor gramps. Since I had nothing else to do, at like midnight. I just went to bed
In the morning
I was awoken by the sound of knocking, good thing I wore my clothes to sleep. I opened and found the most evil thing ive seen, Mayor Thomas. He had a bandage on the side of his head. Hm I wonder why.
"What do you want Thom-"
"Its Mayor Thomas to you"
"Fine, what do you want Mayor Thomas"
" I would like to show you some things of the farm."
"Yea yea"I said trying to get the convocation over
He showed me a bin and told me to put my stuff in there to sell. At 5 pm a guy named Zack would come to collect. And then that idiot Thomas left. Hopefully no one here is like him.
Speaking of people I should probably go introduce myself to the town folks.
First i walked to a Poultry Farm and saw a girl names Popuri, and her brother Rick. Hopefully I can by a chicken from them one day.
Then I went to a inn and meet a girl named Ann, and a boy named Cliff. I thought while I was there I might as well have breakfast. After i ordered my food, a boy with some work clothes and a hat that said 'UMA' walked in.
"Did you get kicked out of your grandfather's work again?" Yelled Ann
"Non of your business Ann, now shut up and get my food ready" then Ann just turned around and continued cooking
Maybe I could introduce my self
"Hi im C-"
"Yeah I don't car-" he said coldly, but good thing I stopped him
"Actually I don't care about what your opinion is, now let me finish my sentence" I cleared my throat" My name is Claire and I run the farm down south. Okay? Okay!" I said angerly
After that, everyone started staring at me I felt a rush of embarrassment run through me. Ann was giving me a happy look, Cliff with a happy/confused look, and the boy with a mad look. Next thing I know im stomping out of HELL. Just as I was closing the door I heard
"She's just like you Gray, you can finally get a friend that's like you" Said Ann
Then I saw red on his face
"As if that's going to happen, then he got up and stomped up the stairs"
"SEE THEY'RE JUST LIKE TWINS" yelled Ann
As if I would ever be friends with that boy named Gray.
I decided to go meet the rest of the people, I visited a supermarket owned by a girl named Karen, she gave me a few seeds for free, and I bought the rest.
Then I went down to the blacksmith, turns out his grandson is Gray, and the worse part is i was going to come in there everyday to give an ore so I could make money, but I guess not
I went down to the library to introduce myself and get a few books about farming. Apparently the library is owned by a girl named Mary. I sat at ooe of the tables and started reading. Just as I started someone came busting in, it was Gray. And since I just loooovvveee drama, I hid under the table
"H-hi Mary" Gray said shyly
"H-hi Gray" Mary said back
Hey I aint no scientist but I just know they have a crush on each other.
"D-do you m-mind if you wo- you know what just nevermind" Gray said
"Oh o-okay" said Mary, then she left to a back room
I walked up and left and im sure Gray saw me and turned his happy face to a embarrassed expression, so I just winked at him,
Can't wait till I tell Ann in the morning. But just as I walked out, Gray ran after me, knowing I was going to tell Ann tommorow, so I ran as fast I could.
But then my sickle fell out of my rugsack and hit me in the knee. I flopped down.....
Thank you for reading, im actually really proud of this chapter, so I think im just going to switch between Grays and Claries POV tbh.
