Loyalty and Honesty

Melissa POV
I woke up to my beeper buzzing. I felt around the nightstand for it and Picked it up I looked at it and it was Dana. I sat up from the bed and picked up the phone next to me and dailed her up. It rung twice then she picked up

"Hello" I said in a sleepy voice

"Girl where are you at" she said whispering

"Why are you whispering"

"Because Marcus is In the other room with flowers trying to apologize"

Last night Marcus and I got into an argument over Mike once again. He keep bringing him up since the gala, but this time he accused me of cheating on him with Mike which was not the case

"Tell him I'm over Key house I'm On my way home now"

"Okay but for real where are you, I know you ain't no damn key house"

"I see you soon" I said hanging up

I looked at the time it was 7:35am. I slid back down in the bed and just groaned into the covers regretting what I did last night

"Stop making all that noise a nigga trying to sleep" mike said

"Shut the fuck up" I spat back

"So mr million dollars at your house ready to apologize" he said laughing

"Shut up and give me my bra"

"You going to tell him I was up in them guts last night or you going to keep me on the low like a booty call" he said passing me my bra

I ignored his question and kept getting dressed. I got all my clothes on except my panties I can't find them anywhere. Mike of course just watched silently being a creep. I called a cab which was five minutes away. I went into the bathroom to wash my face and gargoyle some mouthwash. I walked out the bathroom and into the living room towards the door

"No goodbye kiss " he said walking behind me

"Mike I see you later" I turned around

"That works to it would be even better if it was later tonight after you dump that loser"

"You pushing it" I said walking out his apartment

I ran down the stairs out of the complexed and to the cab. It was about a 15 minute drive. We pulled up To the house I payed the guy and got out. I fixed my hair a little and continue to walk towards my house. I walked in and was automatically met by Marcus

"Hey" he said

"Hey" I said with an attitude

"Listen I'm sorry, I should've never accused you of sleeping with Mike, I know that's not your character, I got a little carried away with him buying you stuff and him always being around"

"I told you over and over again you don't have to worry about mike and yet you still accuse me of cheating" I yelled

"I know and I'm sorry for that can you please just forgive me and let's move on"

"I guess I forgive you, but next time you accuse me of cheating I'm not forgiving you" I said smiling

He lifted my chin to kiss me but midway he stop

"What's on your neck" he said

I look at him confused and then I pulled out my mini mirror out of my pocket book. I looked at my neck and felt it and got chills thinking about last night

"Oh I forgot I scratched my self last night"

"Oh okay" he said

"Are you hungry I can cook us some breakfast" I said so he wouldn't ask me anymore questions
