I sighed as I rolled over and the bed was empty. I miss the goodnight kiss on my forehead and the cuddling. Whatever this was, I did not like it. I think it was called fights. But weren't fights normally yelling and mad? I got up to brush my teeth and put on deodorant. Apparently I get stinky very fast. I was just about to walk out the door and then Allock appeared right in front of me. I let out a short scream and fell back.
"Oh come on dear, now you've alerted him. I want you to say that you just tripped," I looked at him as the door flung open.
"Aria are you ok?" It was Kai. Allock had gone.
"I fell back," my heart started hammering and I felt pressure. I had to tell the full truth, "Allock appeared and he scared me," I rushed out. I could breathe again and I gasped for air. That was too close. Even though I was technically telling the truth, I was also lying. I didn't just fall back.
"What?" Kai grabbed me and held me close as he sniffed the air. He growled and marched over to the closet. Ripping the door open, there stood Allock.
"Ah I should have figured other wise that you couldn't lie, Aria," Allock shrugged. Kai grabbed him and lifted him up.
"Why do you keep coming back," he growled.
"I still got unfinished business with your girlfriend you know," Allock sneered.
"Your business is finished. I am done playing around. The next time I see you, I will kill you,"
Allock hackled and looked at me.
"The one favor you owe me is that you can never let him kill me," he pointed his finger at me and pressure invaded my chest. I took a sharp intake of air and Kai looked back at me. The pressure was gone and I collapsed. Kai ran over to me but I couldn't focus on him. My head was spinning and I felt faint.
"What do you do to-" Kai yelled as he turned around but stopped. I followed his gaze to realize Allock was gone. My skin felt hot and prickly and Kai was suffocating me. I scrambled to get away from him and I felt much cooler when I was on the other side of the room.
"Aria are you ok?" He got near me and the heat spiked up. I gasped for air and ran away from him. I can't handle heat. Heat is Lucifer.
"What's wrong?" He asked much calmer. His arms were held out in surrender and he was eyeing me carefully.
"Don't get near me! I get really hot. Like I'm burning,"
"That son of a bitch!" He yelled. I have no clue how, but with a drop of a hat, everything was black.
Everything felt heavy when I opened my eyes. The first thing I cried for was water. The second, was Kai. He was already by my side with a glass of water. He is heaven. My eyes adjusted to the light and I looked around. There were a couple of people I recognized like John, Caroline, Jeremiah, Mary- wait Jeremiah. My head snapped back to the head angel. I jumped up to my feet and bowed. I regretted doing so for I felt very dizzy again. I started to sway and people moved to catch me.
"Relax Aria, we aren't in heaven and you do not have to do that," Jeremiah reassured. My head blushed that he said heaven.
"Heaven?" Kai questioned. He eyed Jeremiah, "you said you were her brother,"
"I am, Angels do not lie," and the truth came out. The room was hushed and quiet.
"Jeremiah-" I said rather harshly. He put his hand up to me and I hushed.
"Aria Weathers, these are supernaturals. They are allowed to know our secrets. Not all of course but they are allowed to know about us. If you had studied instead of goofing off, you would have known," Jeremiah scolded. I blushed from embarrassment and Kai kept staring at me in shock. Like his mouth was open and everything.
