"Don't ever take a fence down until you know why it was put up."
-Robert Frost.
Erica: I'm back.
Hera: How was school?
Erica: Okay.
Hera: That's all?
Erica: Yeah. It's just school.
Hera: Oh and Erica? I saw you writing in a notebook yesterday. Is something wrong?
Erica: Mom, does something have to be wrong for me to hold a pen?
Hera: I was only looking out for you. I don't want you to feel like you have to keep anything in.
Erica: It was nothing, mom. Really.
Hera: Are you sure?
Erica: Positive.
Hera: I noticed- as you're growing older, you have stopped opening up to me.
Erica: [sighs] It's nothing like that.
Hera: I'm your mother! I need to know everything going on with you.
Erica: Oh god, mom nothing happened! Seriously, stop it now.
Hera: Don't talk to me like that Erica. I'm your parent. Not one of your damn friends.
Erica: Exactly. And you don't even want to try.
