I hugged my dad goodbye and planted a kiss on my mothers cheek. I went to wave at my sister, but she had her back turned on me. We were never the closest. But I loved her. I walked over to my aunt, and waved my parents and sister off. They were going to Beacon Hills, whereas I was staying with my Grandpa. However, he was out of town at the moment, so Kate opted to look after me.
"So, Iz, what are we doing?" Kate asked me, a grin on her face.
"Hm, movie marathon? With Ice Cream?" I replied.
"Hell yeah, lets do it." She replied and we walked into the house.
My favourite kind of movies were horror and action followed shortly. I was a huge fan of werewolves and other creatures. I enjoyed watching psychopaths kill each other. And, that may concern some people, but I don't really care. I have three hobbies; shooting targets, lacrosse and music. I also enjoy writing and making stuff too. The school here in San Fransisco has a Lacrosse team. Which I am apart of, the season finishes in a few weeks, so then I'll move out to Beacon Hills. Kate's going to visit them once grandpa comes back.
Out of all my family members, I'm closest to Kate, closely followed by my dad. I get along with my Grandpa much more than Allison does, purely because she's never met him. We've moved around a lot. And Allison never really wanted to meet a family member who she wont see often. The last time she saw him, she was 3.
For a 16 year old girl, I look around 20/21. At least, that's what I've been told. I have rib length brown hair, with golden highlights which is slightly wavy and my eyes are a bright green with hazel flecks in. I have a flat stomach which is slightly toned and a small thigh gap. I don't see how I look 20, but whatever.
*weeks later*
As I settle down on the couch with Kate, we go to put in the film to finish our third movie marathon since my family left, when Kate's phone rings.
She jumps up to answer it, and I lie on the couch, yawning. It must be around 11pm or something.
"Isobel, I have to go now. Your dad needs help with his business and your mum isnt qualified to do anything. I've left a message with your Grandpa, I'll call you when I get there. Love you Izzy, stay safe". Kate said, hugged me and kissed me on the forehead and left.
I was alone.
*more weeks later*
She was gone. My lacrosse season finished a day ago, so I set out to go to Beacon Hills this morning. Grandpa offered to take me, which was surprising since he had made it quite clear he thought Beacon Hills was a crappy place. But I packed my stuff, and I sat next to a solemn faced Grandpa. We arrived in BH a few hours later, and I was exhausted.
I got my bags and Grandpa told me he was going to check into a motel for a couple of days, I nodded and knocked on the front door of my new home. Once I was in and sat down, my dad broke the news to me.
Kate was dead. She was gone. I couldn't do anything about it. I'd lost her.
Dad held me in his arms. Trying to soothe my crying. I fell asleep.
I was probably out for a while.
But I didn't care. I would prefer to be out all year. For the rest of my life. Kate was gone.
