We got out of the car and approached the seats where the ceremony would be held. It was being held in the graveyard where she was to be buried. There was photographers and press everywhere, honestly, didn't they have anything better to do?

A few eulogies passed and now it was my turn.

"Kate was like an older sister to me, despite the fact she was my aunt. Before I came here, she looked after me whilst I was finishing up in my last school, and when I arrived here I was greeted with the news of her death. I cried for hours. And I didnt eat, sleep or barely drink for a week. I miss her. Alot. I thought we told each other everything. Except, she didnt tell me this one thing. Now, it's to do with my family, so theres no way I'm sharing it. However, she left it in a letter. I think it was because she was scared of my reaction. But she obviously didn't see my reaction. But I want to do what she did. I want to be good at it. I want to make her proud." I said, my voice slightly breaking at the last few words.

I stepped down from the podium and I was comforted with a huge hug from the person I least expected it from; Allison.

I watched the coffin be buried into the ground and a few tears fell into my lap. We walked back to the car, and we were taken home. I quickly fell asleep, the crying making me sleepy.

*

The next day I woke up from Allison slightly nudging me,

"Wake up sleepy. If you're goig to catch a ride from me you need to be up and ready soon." Allison said.

At first was confused, and then I remembered. School. The term had already started, but I had a few days of due to finalizing a place.

I got up and went for a shower. I was finished in 10 minutes flat and proceeded to dress in one of my favourite outfits; skinny jeans which were half red tartan and half black, with some black Doc Martens and a fitting red t-shirt with a plaid skull on, which I had made myself. I shoved on a jacket, threw some stuff into my bag and went downstairs. I grabbed an apple and said goodbye to my parents and got into the backseat of Allison's car, so I could put my feet up.

"We're going to pick up a friend of mine first, okay?" Allison ran past me, I nodded and bit into my apple.

By time we'd reached a house, my apple was non existant.

A strawberry blonde girl got into the car, she was wearing a purple grape coloured dress and, she looked stunning.

"Lydia, this is my sister; Isobel" Allison introduced.

"Hey. Your dress is gorgeous by the way" I said, leaning forward.

"Oh, thank you. And  even though I'd never wear anything like it, I have to say, I love your top!" She said, smiling.

"Thanks. I made it myself. " I grinned at her expression.

We reached the school and I left Allison and Lydia so I could go to the reception and get my timetable and stuff. On my way back, I ran into someone. I looked up and it happened to be an extremely attractive brown haired guy.

"Oh my god. I am so so so sorry! I didn't mean to." I rambled, picking up stuff.

"It's fine! I'm Isaac Lahey by the way."

"Isobel Argent. I'm new here."

"Great to meet you, I must go, I need to talk to the Coach about Lacrosse practice...see you around though"

"You mentioned Lacrosse, can you show me coaches office? Do you think he'll let me play?"

"I'll take you, and we'll find out."

So I took a stride and quickly matched the pace of Isaac. I could possibly play Lacrosse. And I couldn't wait.
