It had been an entire month since I'd made the team, and trainin was going pretty well. I'd spoken to Isaac a couple of times, but other than that, not at all. I spent my time with either Scott, Stiles, Allison and Lydia or with my dad, training how to be a hunter. The first lesson I learnt? How to escape the hold of ropes. It was pretty easy, I'd escaped in just under an hour, the fastest time apparently.
I'd avoided Derek at all costs, and I also had to be careful with what I announced around Allison and her friends, after all - I couldn't be the one to announce the Supernatural situation to them. I couldn't ruin their life like that.
Which is why I was lying in bed, not being able to sleep. Guilt ate me up. I mean, I felt left out once I read in the letter about Kate, I was keeping something big from my actual sister. Even if I was doing it to protect her, I still felt bad. I shouldn't have to keep something like this from her, but...what if she was closed minded? What if she didn't believe me. I mean, I might have known her all my life, but I didn't know her. Who could I ask? I racked my brain for the entire night, when it came to me.
Stiles.
I bit into the chocolate donout I had made as I waited for Stiles and Scott. Allison was doing her homework and my parents were out. I was going to send Scott up with Allison so I could speak to Stiles.
Think of the devil and they shall appear. I opened the door and I told Scott where to find Allison.
"Stiles, I need to talk to you"
"I need to talk to you too Isobel."
We stared at each other and I lead him into the living room,
"Stiles...do you know about everything supernatural happening here in Beacon Hills?"
"Yeah...that's exactly what I was going to ask you"
"Why? Need someone to talk to about it and don't want to worry Scott?" I questioned.
"No, Scott knows too...Him, Allison and I just want to be able to fill you in with stuff" Stiles said.
I didn't hear anything after he said Allison. She knew, all along?
"Allison knows?"
"Yeah, but don't be mad, she didn't know what you'd think about it"
"How long has she known?" I whispered.
"Since before you came here, your aunt Kate told her" Stiles replied.
My world crashed down. Allison knew, Kate had told her. Before me. And I thought we were close.
I stood up and stormed out of the front door, slamming it behind me. Forgetting about the new car I had I began running. I just ran. I didnt even stop for breath. I just ran. I was in the middle of the woods when I stopped, and almost collapsed. As I was about to walk out and see where I ended up, I was pushed to the ground. And there was a searing pain through my lower abdomen. I opened my eyes and whatever pushed me had gone. I lifted my shirt up and saw the blood. I knew exactly what it was.
I walked as quick as I could, I vaguely remembered where I was going, upon reaching the destination, I wondered if I was making the right decision. Who cares. He opened the door and I looked up.
"Derek, I've been bitten".
