Chapter Twelve

A/N Just a warning this chapter might come out a little sad.
Natsu's point of view
Where the hell is Acnologia? Its like his magic power and sent left as soon as Zeref and I came into the cave.
"Natsu don't about your sent or feeling of magic power. Acnologia can hide all of that so pay more attention to your hearing and sight," Zeref said. Well that's great! It should a little easier for me though because of my fight with Jellal in the Tower of Heaven.
"Mavis!!" Zeref yelled while running towards the first master. I quickly followed behind him to see the first master. Zeref picked her up in his arms. She looked horrible. She was completely beat up and in no condition to help us fight. "Mavis we need to get you out of here quickly!"
"Zeref I'll be fine. Now Acnologia will be heading towards Lucy. If we don't get to him quickly she could be in alot of trouble," Mavis said trying to get out of Zeref's arms. Zeref wouldn't let her go. I guess it runs in the family to not want our mates to get any worse than the condition they're already in.
"Zeref get Mavis safe. I need to get to Lucy before anything bad happens to her!" I said while I ran off towards the exit of the cave. I newd to get to het quickly and make sure she's safe!
Lucy's point of view
I hope they're all safe. Natsu wouldn't let me help so I couldn't defend anyone if they did need help. "Lucy!!!" I heard someone yell my name. It was Natsu!
"Natsu!" I said running to him. But all of a sudden something hit like a boulder in the back. The last thing I remember before I blacked out was Natsu screaming something at someone. Please say he's safe!
Time skip a few hours
I woke up from being knocked out in the arms of someone. Who was it though? I know it wasn't Acnologia or Natsu. "Finally awake Lucy?" I heard the person say. It took me a bit but then I realized it was Zeref!
"Zeref where's Natsu and Mavis?" I asked him. I hope they're okay. Oh please god make sure they're safe.
"About that....." Zeref trailed off before he could finish saying what he was saying. He set me down and tried his best to not cry. "M-mavis..... Mavis couldn't make it..... She was too badly harmed by Acnologia that when we came to her aid she barely able to move and Natsu.... He's still back there."
Natsu is still there!? I must get back and help him! "Zeref we must turn back and take him out! If not Natsu might over do himself more than what he's already done!" I said trying to run towards the great mass of magic power I felt. But my attempt failed horribly. Zeref grabbed me vy the arm and sat me down on a rock. "Zeref let me go help him! He could get horribly hurt or even worse killed!" I screamed still trying to run to Natsu's aid.
"No Lucy. I can go back there and help him, but I don't think Natsu will even let you come to his aid with the condition you're in." Zeref said point at my center. I didn't realize that my back was completely screwed up. It looked like it was completely burnt. "You're lucky you didn't get hurt more and it didn't damage that baby of yours," Zeref said walking away. Wait how did he know? I haven't even told Natsu about it. I was planning on telling him after the mission so that I could still do things like going on jobs. "Natsu will probably get really happy and shocked to know that he'll be a father after this mission. But he'll get extra protective. Also I'm pretty sure he'll get confused. You two have only dated for only about half a year." And with that Zeref was gone. Oh please say those two will be okay.
Natsu's point of view
Zeref took Lucy to safety after I started throwing punches and magic attacks at Acnologia. I didn't care if this fight could end me. No one can touch my mate without getting punished. This fight was hard though. I'm already low on magic power and Acnologia hasn't even been stunned by me. This means I'll just have to activate dragon force.
"Good your unleashing it! Now I can harvest it!" Acnologia said as he started to steal my magic away. I couldn't stand a chance. I just fell to the ground with the amount of magic power that just left my body forever.
"God damn you Acnologia!" Zeref said as he sent a big ball of black magic at Acnologia. Good thing he did. Acnologia stopped taking my magic and fighting Zeref in hand to hand combat. Now is my time to find Lucy!
Time skip
Zeref's point of view
The fight was hard, but Acnologia is down and dead. Now its time for me to rest also. I went to Mavis's dead body was and laid down to die next to her. My life ended up great for it to come with dying next to the love of my life.
Lucy's point of view
"No!" I heard Natsu scream as he ran up to Zeref and Mavis, bothe being dead. Today was just horrible. I ran up next to Natsu and hugged him from the back. I could hear soft sobs but who couldn't of not cried when their brother is dead in front of them.
So sorry to say but this is the last chapter😭. But don't worry too much! I'm working on another nalu fanfiction! Till I see you guys all again in my next fanfiction. ~Freckles223344
