'Fly, fly, fly away', was all that the voice in my head told me. I started to breathe heavy, I looked out the window and searched the crowd for my mother, when I saw here she was looking at the van that I was in. I banged on the window and called out to her, I think she could sense that I needed her because she started pushing people out the way to get to me. Three members of SWAT came in the back of the van with me, along with one member of animal control, one police officer opened the door and got into the driver's seat. He started the van, my heartbeat stated to increase. 'It's now or never Moe' the voice in my head said, I started to bang on the window again and I saw my mom being held back like the rest of the crowd.
"Calm down." one of them said to me in the van, I began to scream to my mom, I heard guns being drawn out. I turned and looked at them, they looked like tranqualizers. I panicked, I began to shake the van and bang on the window, I saw everyone I cared about watch in horror, not knowing what was happening in the van as I shook it. Tammy, Josh, my mom, my dad, and even the strangers that came to watch. I felt something pointed hit the back of my wing, I winched at the unexpected pain. I turned around to see that I had been shot with tranquilizer, I pulled it out and looked down the barrel of four guns. I was pissed, I could feel the muscles in my back put forth the effort towards the wings, but it wasn't hard when you had an unspeakable amount of anger begging to be free.
My wings extended giving off a small but strong gust of wind, the wind forced the four men in the back of the van to hit their heads against the wall of the van; knocking them out. The officer in the front seat turned around to see what was happening, with his gun drawn. Then the unthinkable happened, I screamed, but it wasn't MY scream. It sounded more like the cry of an eagle mixed with a war cry, the sound made him cover his ears and drop the gun, I was shocked when it didn't affect me like it did him. 'I have to get out of here' I thought 'A quick escape', I extended my wings and pushed them foward with no problem. The blast of wind broke the doors from the van, "This is it," I told myself, "lets see if these bad boys can fly."
**Zephan**
I was in the back of the crowd, trying not to be noticed, but I was trying to see everything that she was doing. I must admit, I was impressed when she broke the doors open with her new wings; very attractive. But where was she? It's been awhile, I would think by now she would have flown out by now, unless she doesn't know how to fly. Just when I doubted her, a beautiful winged creature flew out of the vehicle and into the night sky, she extended her ivory wings and disappeared into the horizon. She was beautiful, I don't think I've seen a creature of any type match up to her beauty. She was all grown up now, her beautiful ebony skin was flawless, she had long hair black curly hair, long beautiful legs, and her wings gave her all the more beauty unneeded. I've watched her for years, and for years I've waited, my father sent me down to earth to watch and protect her. I was given this task before she was born, I thought I would hate this and that she wouldn't be the one. But that all changed when her mother brought her home from the hospital, and from that point on, I was glad I was given this task. It was worth the wait; but it breaks my heart to find out that the happiest day of my living, was the saddest day of hers.
**Tammy**
Poor Uri, out of all the people, I would have never thought this would happen to her. I looked up a Josh, I could tell he really like her, even though he just got to really hang out with her. He tried to hold back unwanted tears, I put my hand on his arm and he looked down at me. Wow he was handsome, I'm jealous, but I'm happy for her to have a guy like that who wants her.
"It's okay to cry." I told him, he blinked at me trying to look confused, but he couldn't help it. He let his tears fall, I embraced him like I was his mom and rubbed his back
"Ju-just when I thought i-it would work," he said between sobs, "I was s-so close." I felt bad for him, he really likes her, but all I did was try to calm him down. There was nothing that could be done. I looked up at him
"Hey, Josh," I tried to sound hopeful, but I couldn't make things sound better, that was Uri who made the best out of the worst, "I know this isn't a good time and all, but did you know Moe had a huge crush on you since sixth grade?" he looked at me shocked
"R-really?" seeing such a good guy cry was so heartbreaking
"Yea, she wouldn't stop talking about you, it was kinda annoying," he let out a soft laugh, "but from what has happened tonight, I bet she was glad that her last normal night had you in it." he stopped crying and wipped away his tears. He looked at me and smiled
"Thanks" he was starting to redeem himself, he opened his arms for a hug and I put myself in it, I smiled thinking that I helped the most important person out here; until I looked over and saw Mrs. Dame, Uri's mom, crying in and officer's arm and crying for her little girl. My nose started to burn, letting me know that my eyes were ready to cry. Seeing a mother cry for her child was one of the worst things to watch in this world, she dropped to her knees crying as if it were the end of her world. I couldn't watch it anymore, I turned away from the scence and cried into Josh's shoulder
"It's okay to cry." he told me, I knew it was but the thought came to me that I didn't want to think of most; nothing could be done
