"So, what's high school going to be like?" Nereus asked, getting into the BACKSEAT of the car

"Well", I shrugged, "it's fun if you hang out with the right people. But I'm a fresman, and we're in October, so I'm still getting used to it."

"Is there anything that could occupy us until it's time to go?" Remiel questioned

"What do you mean? Like sports or clubs?"

"Something to do besides school work." he explained

"Yea, oh yea! The school wants students to be an all around student, you could do sports, clubs, and community service."

"What type of sports?" Zephan and Uriah asked in unison, that seemed to have gotten their attention

"You might be able to do football, swimming, or golf. But you can do basketball, wrestling, baseball and track. Are you guys athletic?" They all had heartbreaking smirks on their faces.

"Well," Remiel started, "if you want to say that."

"What's the joke?" I asked confused

"Since we're not human, our strength and speed is better than an average human male." Nereus explained

"Well if you put your words like that, then the football coach..." my voice faded into thought, football...my friends, my family, shit! I have to call my parents to let them know I'm okay. Zephan waved his hand in my face,

"You alright there?"

"Can I use your phone?" he gave me a puzzled look

"Why?" was he serious! they're so oblivious to things

"So I can call my mom and let her know where I am." he reached in his front pocket and handed me his phone, I dialed in my mom's cell realizing that I couldn't tell her I was with four boys three years older than me. So I dialed Tammy's number, waiting for her to pick up, each ring was like a lifetime. But I knew she would pick up, she always answers her phone.

"Hello?" her raspy greeted, I must have waken her up

"Tammy?" my voice brought life back to her's

"Uri! Uri! Oh my gosh! Where are you? Are you okay? Whose number are you calling from?"

"Tammy, calm down. I'll explain everything to you on Monday-"

"MONDAY! YOU'RE COMING TO SCHOOL AFTER WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU LAST NIGHT! AND WHY DO YOU SOUND SO CALM!" I deeply sighed, and she understood my frusturation to explain this to her, "Sorry, say what you need to say."

"I'm uh, I guess you could say stuck some place. And I don't know when I'll be leaving, until school comes Monday. But I need you to back me up."

"Stuck some place? Are you at the police station? You want my mom to come pick you up?"

"No, no. I'm at a house, but I just need you to tell my mom that I crashed at your place-"

"Uh, Uri, I don't know if you know this. But your mom SAW you FLY AWAY. No way she's going to think that you're at my place."

"Yes she will Tammy, trust me."

"Why? Why would all of a sudden she would forget that you had wings coming out of your back? Why would all of a sudden would she forget that you flew away? Why?"

"Because she did Tammy." I said flat, there was a long pause on the phone, "And so did everyone else that was there, except you and Josh." she was quiet for about fifteen seconds before she could utter a word.

"And how the hell is this possible?" I rubbed the temples on my head before letting her know

"Well, when everyone, who saw me, was sleeping, they had a dose of memory serum given to them."
