Its been a couple of days since I told Carl the way I felt about him and nothing. Nothing was said or done. I didn't know if I even offended him somehow so I just kept my cool and spoke to some of the other girls.
I had learned to get close to Glenn and Amy. They were everything to me, one of the few people I actually get along with in the group. They were like parents to me and made me feel special like I could be anyone and do anything.
On the other hand I didn't really see eye to eye with Maisy, tia or the new girl Charlotte. I was always nice to them despite them always finding a way to knock me down. Charlotte came along with tyreese's group and you could tell she had a thing for him. In my opinion ty deserved better than a snob.
Yes I thought they were all snobs, so what, wouldn't you?
My mind was like pounding because I was trying to actually think with a brain that was just recognised now as a target. I didn't know how I felt right now I had a mixture of emotions just didn't know what.
"Hey Emma can I talk to you for a sec" it was Glenn but he looked worried about something.
"Yeah sure, what you worried about?" I asked curious.
"You, your acting weird you haven't smiled in a while!" He said sadly.
I don't think I have ever seen anyone this worried since him and Amy went in different directions to look for food. I had to smile for him even if it was fake.
"Glenn don't be worried, I'm fine" I smiled walking back to the group.
"Emma can you take judith out side with you please"
"Umm sure" I said going to sit on the deck just outside of the shack.
I have been trying to get Judith for sleep for about 30 mins but she was just fighting it. Oh she's not going to Mae me sing her a lullaby is she? Off cause she does.
So I began to sing.
"You are my sunshine" I sung while she gigged, I knew my singing was bad but was it that funny?
"My only sunshine"
"You make me happy, when skies are grey"
"You'll never know dear, how much I love you"
"Please don't take my sunshine away"
I looked down to see her smiling while she was sound asleep.
"Nice singing" carl said leaning on the shack door.
"Thanks, can you take her in please?" I asked.
He nodded and took her from my arms walking back into the shack. I saw a figure moving towards me so I walked up to it from thinking it was a walker but I was wrong.
"Hi my names Aaron"
